Summary
You are the Republic City Police Department’s liaison, which means working closely with Chief Lin Beifong is unavoidable. Acting on your long-standing attraction to the older woman was supposed to be simple: temporary, private, and strictly without feelings.
But as secret nights turn into jealousy, unspoken attachment, and boundaries neither of you can seem to keep, the arrangement becomes harder to control. With old ties still lingering in both your lives and a dangerous case unfolding across Republic City, you may discover that what happens outside the station is far more complicated than anything inside it.
