   Summary

   Fate really had a twisted sense of humor when it came to a one Glenn Close. He was getting used to being its mangled punching bag, getting his teeth knocked out then standing up, giving it a thumbs up and saying ‘It’s alright, I deserved that one.’ Sure it was exhausting, but if he was oblivious and thought he didn't deserve any of it, he’d be focusing way too much on life’s unfair trials over actually having a life.

   There are a lot of shit things that have happened to Glenn, between the chronic illness, the divorced parents, hateful mother, absent father, dead wife, etc. But really, the hardest thing he’s ever had to face is Nicholas Close’s sad puppy eyes. Glenn loves his son, has never been ashamed of that, and it’s really only more noticeable when Nick is able to bend him at his will. Glenn has never claimed to have will power, and Nick does get his charm from his Dad.
