Summary
Through the fog and the rain Minho makes out the silhouette of a man, and the very clear outline of his forearm and fist, slamming against the window.
It's not going to hold, Minho thinks dismally. Oh, god. It's not going to hold.
Against his better judgment – he should have just gone straight home – he walks back to the door and unlocks it, then flicks the outside light on and off. The figure at the window turns toward the light and heads to the door.
The door slams open, and the stranger covered in blood stands at the threshold.
"How can I help you?" Minho asks. "What can I do?"
The man coughs. "The bleeding, first. Everything else later."
--Lee Minho, physical therapist and hobby ornithologist, saves a mysterious, injured bird hybrid from a terrible storm. Despite knowing nothing about him, for some reason Minho offers to let this strange bird stay and heal at his house.
