Glutted

Summary:

Armand likes to feed Daniel.

Notes:

Soooo I read the Devil's Minion chapter and got inspired to write this (I am obsessed with them).

Work Text:

“I’m stuffed. I really am.” How many times had Daniel said that? When was the last time? An hour ago or two? What was time when you had a 500 year old vampire by your side?

They were locked in one of their routines. The one where Daniel returned sick and starving, despondent and desperate for Armand’s affections and care. It was then Armand’s job to nurse him back to health. And he did so like a proper Florence Nightingale.

Right now, Armand was spoon-feeding him. He did this only when Daniel began to refuse food after so many plates and plates. He took it upon himself to make sure that Daniel ate as much as he saw fit. This often left Daniel so full that he couldn’t move or sometimes so sick that he felt like throwing up (but he couldn’t do that to disappoint Armand). But just as often as it made him uncomfortable, he also enjoyed their time together. Truthfully, Daniel liked to eat, just as much as Armand liked to feed him.

“Please, just eat a little more,” Armand implored with his soft silky voice. “You were so thin when you came to me.”

He hesitated. While it was true that he felt like he was going to burst, maybe he could fit a little bit more… It was his aching stomach vs the sacrilegious act of disappointing Armand and he chose not disappointing Armand. He swallowed down any pain and opened his mouth.

The vampire smiled at his compliance and lifted the fork to Daniel’s lips.

Daniel obediently took the bite of food in his mouth (chocolate cake), chewed, then swallowed. His stomach let out a little groan of protest but he ignored it.

Armand paid close attention to Daniel chewing and then swallowing, his eyes watched Daniel’s throat with an almost predatory gleam in them.

If Armand had been a different vampire, then Daniel might have a cause to feel nervous under his gaze, but he knew Armand, and Armand wasn’t much of a throat ripper.

“I would miss this if you were as I am.” The vampire said as he pierced another piece of cake and held it out to Daniel. “Our time together is special.”

“We’d still have time together.” Daniel insisted while chewing.

“But not doing this. Vampires cannot eat food.” Armand pointed out. “Sometimes I wish we could when I see all of what there is to offer. So much is different from my time…”

“But what about drinking blood together? We could do that.”

“It’s not the same.”

“How is it different? Besides chewing, I don’t see much difference.” Daniel argued.

Armand frowned. It was never good when he started to get upset.

He started to try to speak again but the vampire shushed him by pushing another bite into his mouth.

“It is different. Vampires can get glutted on blood but it doesn’t give the same fullness as food. I would miss feeding you. Miss seeing you full like this.” Armand sighed, putting his hand on Daniel’s full stomach. “I like seeing you well fed.”

Something about his words caused Daniel to blush and then he really turned red when Armand touched him.

He coughed. “I- I see, I think I understand what you mean now.”

“Good.” His companion smiled. “Now finish this.”

Daniel nodded obediently, finishing every last bite of the dessert before him. Obviously it took him a bit longer than usual but he was happy to have cleaned his plate. Though some nervousness kicked in when he saw Armand eyeing another platter of dessert (they had an array of dishes around them). Maybe it was time to articulate that he really was full again.

Instead, Armand had picked up a glass of red wine to Daniel’s relief.

“Drink,” Armand said, holding the glass to Daniel’s lips.

Daniel drank and drank until the liquor dribbled down his chin and out of the corners of his mouth. He drank hungrily as if it was blood that the vampire had offered to him instead of spirits.

As the vampire moved to wipe up the spilled alcohol, Daniel started to feel sleepy. An almost heady sensation passed over him. This was what he felt during the end of most meals. He barely managed to stand and crawled into bed.

As soon as Daniel lay back on the bed, Armand was on him in an instant, having moved lithely like a cat. He hovered there, just inches from Daniel’s face, his hands pinning down Daniel’s wrists. His touch was ever so delicate but Daniel knew the amount of force that laid behind that gentle guise.

“I would miss this if you were as I am,” he repeated. “To have this warmth of yours snuffed out.”

“What? You’re warm too, your mouth, I mean-”

Armand laughed. Oh, that beautiful laugh. “That is not what I meant. Your humanness would all but disappear…”

“But I want it. You know I do.” Daniel insisted.

“I know you do.” Armand’s voice was almost sad. “But you still do not know what it means and what you will lose.”

“Why don’t we forget about all of that for tonight?” Daniel suggested. “Why not just focus on now?”

“I would like that.” The vampire agreed and he placed a hand on Daniel’s stomach. “How beautifully full you are.” he moved his hand so that it was under Daniel’s shirt. There he traced small and delicate circles onto Daniel’s skin.

How Daniel loved this part when the vampire rubbed his aching belly.

“This can’t be comfortable.” Armand said as he loosened Daniel’s belt for him and unbuttoned his shirt for him. “There,” he looked pleased with himself as he straddled Daniel’s hips.

“Thank you,” Daniel mumbled, already feeling like he was in heaven as Armand massaged his stomach. His touch was so gentle, careful not to press too firmly on Daniel’s stomach in case it caused discomfort, he had this little routine memorized.

“You are mine, beautiful boy,” Armand said.

“Yes,” Daniel nodded. “Yes, I am yours.”

Then he promptly fell asleep. The last image in his mind being that of Armand’s shining visage and the thought of how lucky he was to have the vampire as his.
