Gale Cleven has been a medium for his whole life. After he graduated from college he married his childhood friend John Egan.
John Egan is a demonologist who was taught personally by Ed Warren. Lorraine and Ed Warren are good friends of Gale and John, Lorraine helped Gale figure out his special ability after his mom passed away.
After Gale's mother passed away his father became more violent. Gale's father never supported or believed Gale when he told him about his ability. Gales father called him crazy and sent him to a boarding school for boys.
John Egan grew up with a loving mother, but his father was a drug addict. After being sent to prison for the 5th time, John's mother divorced him and moved to Wisconsin.
Gale and John have been all over the country helping people who have haunted houses. They even helped in the exorcism at the Perron Family house.
