Date Me

Summary:

Dick thinks Wally should tell Jazz how he feels.

Notes:

For Monopoly yet again. I got to pick my prompt this week and I chose polyamory.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

"Wally, have you actually told her that I'm your boyfriend?" Dick asked.

Wally looked at him startled from where he had been watching his friend Jazz walk away to collect their order. Which was really all the answer that Dick needed. He hadn't and hadn't even realized that he should.

"I don't know. Why are you asking?"

"Because she is waiting for you to ask her out," Dick said. "She obviously likes you and you are acting the same way back."

Wally blushed. but didn't say anything. Which meant Dick had to keep talking.

"You know I am fine with that and I like Jazz but she should know if you are thinking about it."

"Uh, well I wasn't really. Now I am though."

There was a look that made Dick suspicious about what was going to happen. But he didn't get the chance to ask before Jazz came back with their drinks. She set them all down on the table before taking her seat again.

"Dick is my boyfriend," Wally blurted out with no preamble. "Also do you want to go on a date with me?"

Dick couldn't restrain the face palm at that. And when he took his hand off his face he saw a completely stunned look on Jazz's face. Her mouth opened and closed a few times as she figured out something to say.

"We have an agreement that we can date other people as long as everyone knows," Dick explained. "Though normally we're better about explaining ourselves."

He gave Wally a look and he at least looked a bit sheepish.

"Okay," Jazz said slowly. "In that case, I would like to go on a date with you Wally."

Wally beamed. Then Jazz looked at Dick.

"And I would like to do the same with you."
