Danny paced back and forth across the conference room that the Justice League had left him waiting in. He had been there for hours as they refused to let him go see his partners. Who were in the medical bay for reasons that he had also not been told. Which was starting to really get on his nerves. If someone didn't tell him something soon he was going to have to go find them himself.
The door opened and Batman came in. Danny glared.
"Come with me," he said.
Danny quickly followed him through the halls of the space station they were on to the med bay. Where he was let into a room where both Hal and Barry sat on a bed. They were both in the basic clothes that were kept around for when people needed to change out of their uniforms. But that wasn't the most eye catching thing about wither of his boyfriends.
No that would be the fact both of them had cat ears and tails.
He valiantly tried not to laugh but it only took a few seconds before he was breaking down with his laughter.
"Sorry, sorry, but this is just too much," he said.
"We know," Barry sighed.
"What happened?" Danny asked between laughs.
"Magic of some sort," Hal said. "We were told it should wear off on its own."
"But for now we are stuck like this," Barry said pouting.
Danny finally got his laughter under control and looked at them. Hal's tail was twitching with annoyance and Barry's ears were partially turned back.
"Well I think you both look very cute," Danny said.
"Seriously?" Hal said. "That's what you're going with?"
"Honestly I have nothing else. But it is true."
"Thanks Danny. Let's go," Barry said.
And dragged them out.
