Summary
As his world spirals around him, Vin spirals with it: into a seemingly endless of chems and addiction and relapse, over and over, until he barely recognises the reflection staring back. And each time is the same: I’ll stop tomorrow, I’ll stop when I find Shaun, I’ll stop when it all stops hurting so much. I’ll stop, I’ll stop, I’ll stop.
In a world trying its hardest to kill him, Sole Survivor Vin tries his best to continue surviving, at the cost of just about everything else. He’s aware something isn’t right: the burn in his guts, the heaviness in his lungs. The constant exhaustion threatening to drown him. But he pushes through it, because what else can he do? His revenge, Shaun - all that is his burden to shoulder alone.
Except in the darkness, there’s a hand reaching forth.
