Tennis, Adam thought, was what life was really about. There was nothing that could beat the exhilaration of the adrenaline pumping through his system. Nothing could counter the thrill of the fast-paced game that slowed itself in his mind until he could calculate the angle that he needed to hit everything on.
Tennis was second nature to him. It was his game. It pumped through his blood, occupied his every thought.
He knew Ronan felt the same. Tennis was his everything as well. It’s why they worked so well together - their styles were so contrasting but their passion was the same.
Adam hit the ball as it came hurtling toward him, angling it just so that it hit outside the court on the second bounce.
Ronan’s hand was ruffling his hair in congratulations before they even heard the ringing announcement of Ad-Out.
