"Nah you know, same stuff as always", Crowley brushes off the concern; ignores the way his hands still shake and his lungs still burn.
Aziraphale is having none of it.
"What 'stuff' might that be?" He asks, with a raised eyebrow; his tone really suggests he already knows, but the stubbornly persistent angel is clearly set on making Crowley say it.
Fine. He'll say it. Only because he wants to get whatever heart-to-heart they're about to have out of the way, so he can go straight back to sleep in the angel's arms. (Not because there's absolutely nothing that Aziraphale can ask of him that he won't do. Nope).
"Alright fine, I fell. Nothing new really. S'happened before angel"
