Summary
Saffron Alveraz, or New Kid to most who knew her in her youth, grew tired of constantly running from the supposed “big bad government guys” her parents talked nonstop about. Saffron hated moving constantly, being dragged around by her parents to the ends of the earth (around Northern America). Saffron wanted something constant, somewhere she could actually feel at home, feel like she fit in. She knew of such a place once, a small town in Colorado where she’d lived when she was 10. She’d actually had friends there, even if she never spoke a word to them. While a lot of the kids were still dicks, one kid in particular, the kid next door to her, was an absolute sweetheart… Saffron would love to see how the Stotch kid grew up.
