Summary
No Tadpole AU. Gale's mother gets sick of his isolation and signs him up for the services of a matchmaker who sets him up with a plague doctor possessing no expectation of a relationship. They try to keep their secrets and their newly cherished friendship, but they soon realize they cannot keep both; and when those secrets drive them from Waterdeep, not even their memories may remain behind.
