Summary
Anthony Bridgerton faced a big role. Like the viscount, the whole family and people around him expected him to get married soon and start a family. Anthony was aware of his role, but the feeling that he had to choose some noble woman just for status didn't really appeal to him. One day he accompanied his younger sister to a ball. But he himself rather stood at a distance, sometimes exchanging a few words with someone or dancing.
The guests here had very attentive staff who took care of the guests, brought them food and drinks. But there was also a young black-haired girl moving among the staff.
