All Evan wanted out of his fourth year at Hogwarts was a position on the quidditch team, good grades and to have fun - or whatever counted as fun to Regulus - with his friends.
Lily was just happy that she didn't end up paired with James for their first assignment in Care for Magical Creatures. Instead Professor Kettleburn, in an effort to strengthen interhouse-relations, partners her up with Evan Rosier.
In the following weeks the two strike up a soft friendship which turns into much more by the end of the year. Through their developing relationship both have to navigate Hogwarts, classes and growing jealousy on the sidelines, as well as general rivalry mayhem between Gryffindoor and Slytherin.
