Summary
After coming back from Antarctica, Ghost decides to do what ghosts do. Disappear.
Weeks and weeks of avoiding one another, things finally come to a culmination after a bad mission. You had been coming upon too many dead ends in trying to catch Giovanna, you needed to get that flash drive. And if it costed your life, so be it. Unfortunately for you, it didn't, so you have to suffer through an argument that creates a rift so big, you can't even see the other side.

You could see Ghost grinding his teeth under his balaclava, taking a step forward with an aura you’d never felt before. Oh boy, was he irate. “No one has ever asked you ‘ta make those sacrifices, that’s jus’ you being bloody selfish.” You crossed your arms over your chest, standing your ground when he advanced toward you. This wasn’t the first time you’d been the punching bag for his anger. “Suddenly, you become a Lieutenant ‘n think that ‘yer so much better than everyone else. News-fuckin’-flash, this is a team. We work together instead of going out of our way ‘ta try ‘n prove ourselves. Y’know what we call that? Bein’ egocentric. Egotistical bastards don’ get to be apart of teams, Knives.”
