Chapter Text
Prompt: Going for a Swim
~
A smile flitted across Leah McCoy's face as she closed her eyes and listened to the sound of the waves. It had been a good idea to go on vacation with her boyfriend Robert "Robbie" Scott. She had been planning on visiting his home country Scotland with him for a long time and when he had asked her in the spring if she wanted to go with him, she had immediately and enthusiastically agreed.
"Do ye like it, mo chridhe?"
When she heard Robbie's sweet voice, Leah opened her eyes again and looked over at him. Her smile widened.
"It's wonderful, sweetheart. I love it!" She pressed a quick kiss to Robbie's cheek before looking towards the water. Although she had the sea on her doorstep in San Francisco, it was something completely different here in Aberdeen. The waves were much rougher and yet at the same time they seemed incredibly attractive and inviting.
The sun had been shining since the early hours of the morning and Leah was longing to cool off. Robbie had told her that the water in the North Sea was a lot cooler than that in San Francisco, but she still just wanted to dive into the waves at that moment.
Leah looked down at her white sandals with a grin. It would be very easy to just take them off and run into the water. But swimming alone was way too boring, wasn't it?
The nurse let her gaze wander over the beach. There were only a few people out and about at the moment. The beach was extremely wide. No one seemed to be watching the couple.
Without warning, Leah suddenly grabbed Robbie by his shirt, pulled him close and kissed him almost a little too passionately to do it in public. Robbie made a surprised sound and his eyes widened for a short moment before he closed them and surrendered to his girlfriend's kiss.
Kiss followed after kiss. Arms wrapped around each other's bodies. They almost stumbled, not paying attention to where they were going.
Robbie didn't even notice how Leah slowly led him towards the water and it wasn't long before they plunged into the waves together.
The Scotsman gave a startled cry as the cool water soaked his clothes, while his girlfriend simply giggled.
"Leah!"
Robbie stared wide-eyed at the nurse in surprise, but she only gave him an innocent smile.
"What? With a hot Scotsman like you, a woman like me needs to cool off."
Leah laughed when she saw Robbie blush. His wet face was even more beautiful than ever.
"Ye're just incorrigible, Leah McCoy," Robbie murmured and his girlfriend gave him another kiss and shrugged.
"Guess I am. Well, now that our clothes are wet anyway, we might as well go for a swim. What do you think?"
Robbie couldn't help but laugh and he playfully splashed some water in Leah's direction.
He couldn't deny her a wish anyway. And a little cooling off never hurt anyone.
