Summary
Choromatsu had no complaints about his most recent assignment from Central Command, even if it was notably more dangerous than the previous tasks given to him. His only real irritation toward his mission was that he couldn't find anyone willing to accompany him and act as his research assistant. Needing someone to occupy the role, he decided to enlist his human captive, Karamatsu, to aid his efforts for the duration of the mission. Although his superiors would surely reprimand him for such a choice if they ever learned of it, he elected not to tell them and proceeded as normal. However, the assignment would prove to pan out in a bizarre series of events that would defy just about every definition of normal.
