Long ago, during early junior school, something happened that put Akito Shinonome In a painful era, he was unable to feel positive emotions, he became cold-blooded, apathetic and he stopped believing in "True Love" even if he never felt such a thing in the past
Now, 6 years later, He now attends a Sleep-Away music Academy that's in Shibuya, named Mikudemy
He had started to put on a "Nice Guy Persona", a facade to mask his true self, He put on a charming smile in public and behaved kindly, but deep down, he still felt nothing…
Only his Family were aware of this…
Well, let's start our new story…
Akito had been assigned to the Passion Heart Class, obviously in the Heart Building, somehow the same class as his older sister, Ena Shinonome
How unlucky… the only student that knows of his facade is his classmate…
That same classmate was currently having a “Friendly” chat with one of her old friends, Airi Momoi…
Ena: ah, they say that THIS other MakeUp brand is better than this one
Airi: AND? I'll still use it? Their quantities are bigger
Ena: you DEFINITELY Don't care about Quality! Come on! Bulk Buying exists!
Airi: Hey! What are you doing?! PLEUGH!
Ena was spreading concealer on Airi's face… their bickering annoyed Akito…
Akito: (...wait, why am I still here? Didn't classes end for today…?)
Akito stood up, grabbed his backpack and left the classroom, As Akito left the classroom, he could still hear Ena and Airi continuing their bickering, Despite his cool, nonchalant facade, he couldn't help but feel a pang of irritation at their incessant chatter, he was still able to feel annoyed, after all, thank God he left before he could have become their MakeUp dummy
Akito felt a sense of relief as he walked away from the classroom, leaving behind the annoying conversation between Ena and Airi, Despite his cold exterior, he couldn't fully suppress the irritation he felt at their constant bickering about MakeUp, He found it hard to believe that his own sister was so invested in such frivolous matters
As he walked down the hallway, Akito decided to put in another act of the Facade he had, he pulled out a textbook and opened it, reading it while he was walking, this action not only would help with his Facade but nobody would disturb him, it was the best act to do if he wasn't in a calm mood at the moment
keeping his eyes glued to the pages of his textbook, even as his mind wandered elsewhere, He could hear the usual chatter and bustle of students all around him, but he paid it no mind, his focus was on the words written in the book before him
he continued walking down the hallway, head buried in his textbook, all he wanted to do now was to go back to his dorm room and go to sle-
Akito: gh!
???: ah!
Akito failed to notice that he wasn't looking properly until it was too late and he collided with someone, causing him, the textbook and his open backpack to fall on the ground and make a mess as the other student kneeled down in panic while trying to help him put the stuff back in his bag, Akito never dared to look at him as he tried to do the same
???: I'm so sorry!
Akito: It's okay! I'm okay! Don't worry!
Akito still didn't try to look at the other person, until the other stood back up and lent a hand out to him, Akito hesitated for a moment before taking the other person's hand and standing up, He finally dared to glance up and catch a glimpse of the person who had collided with him
…And as soon as he saw his face, he suddenly felt warm, he was getting overwhelmed by this flooding feeling…
That Boy… That… Angel… The boy standing before him had beautiful features, like those of an angel… His Gray, kind eyes sparkled with beauty that seemed almost otherworldly... his two-toned blue hair looked and shined like a gem would… and his warm smile made Akito's heart flutter in his chest, It was as if he was looking at someone who was meant to be the perfect human
…what the fuck was this feeling?! Akito didn't even know his name yet! But he wanted more of it…
Akito was helped up… he wanted to touch that delicate hand for longer but couldn't… that would be weird! He tried to thank the boy who was apparently taller than him, even if his heart still felt like it was going to burst out of his chest
Akito: (I've never felt like this before...!)
Angelic Boy: Are you okay? Your face is red…
Akito: (OHMYGODHEASKEDMEIFIWASOKAYOKUH) a-ah, I just feel hot! Yeah! We're in the only building that lacks good quality Air Conditioning after all! Haha…
Boy: fair enough, someone should really file a complaint about it and submit it to student resources
Akito: uhm… w-what now?
Angelic Boy: What's your name?
Akito: (OHMYGODHEASKEDMYNAMEPLEASEBETHEDEATHOFME) a-ah! I-I’m Akito Shinonome… n-nice to meet you
Toya: ah, I'm Toya Aoyagi, nice to meet you too!
Suddenly, a ringtone coming from the taller Boy's phone went off, he grabbed it with his delicate hands
Toya: ah! I forgot about that, I need to go! i hope to see you again another time!
Akito: ah…
And with that, Toya speed walked away and Akito… didn't feel numb when he left? Is it because he was still in his mind? If so, that was great! Ah, maybe he should go back to his dorm and still sleep until supper, maybe he will have a dream for the first time in a long time, Akito really needed to protect that Gifted Boy and keep all of him all for himself…
Well, Akito did manage to go to sleep as soon as he shut his eyes and actually slept until the early morning, The dream he had of him was that precious moment but it led to him stroking his delicate abs… to… Okay that's definitely love that he was feeling uh, how will Akito explain this to anyone? Maybe he won't?
He had never felt this way before, all these new emotions he was feeling... they were so confusing, yet addictive, He bets that accidental collision was always meant to happen
Akito still couldn't believe that in just a matter of seconds, he had gone from being an emotionless, numb person to a lovestruck fool. It was almost embarrassing… yet he craved it even more that he thinks of it
He was then awoken by the alarm and… he felt better than the other times he'd wake up, like he had an amazing sleep, well, Guess it's time to go get breakfast at the cafeteria!
Akito sat up in his bed and stretched, still replaying the previous day's encounter in his mind… it would be impossible to ever forget that angelic face…
He got out of bed, getting ready for the morning, All he wanted to do was to see that face again, He wanted to bask in the presence of that perfect Boy, He wanted to get to know Toya Aoyagi more… if he was able to…
Something that was possible is that he could accidentally say the wrong thing and he'd start hating him! Oh well… he's hungry, time to go down to the cafeteria! Apparently he brought along a Polaroid camera too
Akito walked through the corridors, heading towards his destination, He felt more alive and energetic than usual, He couldn't stop thinking about Toya's face
As he arrived at the cafeteria, he looked around for Toya, but didn't seem to see him
Akito: (he must still be on his way…)
Akito went to get his breakfast, which now was Pancakes, a cheesecake slice, a glazed donut, a Piece of french toast and some coffee and Juice instead of a simple slice of toast and tea, the one working at the counter was shocked by the sudden chance but didn't care since Akito looked happier than usual, Akito sat on the usual table, one that had another table on it's back
Akito: (since I can feel positive emotions again, my taste buds should have gone back to normal too!)
Akito took a bite from pancakes, feeling the sweet taste on his tongue. He couldn't help but smile, it's been a while since he's felt this happy. He started to imagine the scenario of him and Toya together, sitting and having breakfast together, talking about their day and laughing...
But then, his daydream was interrupted as he heard a familiar voice from behind, it belonged to none other than his sister, Ena…
Ena: Oh, there you are!
Akito turned to see Ena walking towards his table, holding a tray of food, she sat down across from him with a tray with a slice of cheesecake, a chocolate protein bar and a can of a strawberry flavored energy drink
Akito: Are you not going to sit down with Momoi…?
Ena: she's busy having an unplanned date with her girlfriend Shizuku with Minori acting as a Third wheel
Akito: why can't they add a fourth wheel?
Ena: shut up, Minori is enough
Akito: Hanasato truly is a loyal friend to them…
Ena: hey I don't blame her! If one of my biggest idols became my friend, I'd be loyal as fuck to them as well!
Akito: Can I eat in peace without you? You can go hang out with Asahina or Akiyama, right?
Ena: erm, you forgot Kanade
Akito: didn't she faint, forcing her to be hospitalized so she isn't attending school at the moment?
Ena: oh, I forgot about that, also fine! I will go hang out with Mizuki then!
Akito: goo-
Toya: ah… I'm so tired…
Toya has sleepily sat down with his tray down onto the table that was attached to the back of the table Akito was sitting at
Akito: ngh! (SHITHE'SSITTINGRIGHTBEHINDMEI'MSODEAD)
Akito's heart nearly jumped out of his chest when he heard that all-too-familiar voice, he couldn't help but feel butterflies in his stomach as the boy sat down behind him
Ena: huh?
Akito: (ohmygodhe'sheredon‘tpanicdon'tpanicdon'tpanicdon‘tpanic)
Akito took another bite of his breakfast, trying not to give away how flustered he is
Ena: A-
Akito: I'm Okay! I Have Zero Issues! I just feel hot! Why Don't You Go To Akiyama?
Ena: hmm…
Ena looked between the two boys with curious eyes, as she grabs her tray, wondering what was happening but not saying anything for now
Akito tried to remain calm, but his heart was racing a mile a minute, He was painfully aware of Toya sitting right behind him, he didn't know how to deal with this situation
Ena: …wait, so-
Akito: I said leave!
Akito had thrown the piece of french toast at Ena's face, which fell on the ground, leaving her face covered in honey and butter
Ena: You Son of a- UGH!
Ena muttered something under her breath and walked away, pissed and annoyed at her brother, Akito exhaled a sigh of relief, but then he remembered that the boy who he felt like he was falling in love with was sitting right behind him, and he started to get nervous again
Toya: eepy…
Akito just decided to finish his breakfast before things could go wrong and went to class which was about to start,
After Classes ended for the day, Akito went into the Student building, the one in the middle of the campus and sat on a bench that was outside the School Library, pretending to read the same textbook as before
After a bit, he saw Toya entering said School Library, which got his attention, sad that he didn't notice him… well, anyways!
Akito watched as Toya entered the school library, unaware of his presence… Suddenly, an idea came to him.
Maybe, just maybe, he could use this as an opportunity to take a picture of the Angel, He was willing to try anything for him…
Akito waited a few moments, just to make sure no one was around, before quickly grabbing his Polaroid camera and sneaking into the school Library, he then looked around, trying to spot Toya, and there he was, using his delicate hands to take care of the Library's books, a perfect opportunity
Akito slowly crept up behind a shelf, his heart racing with excitement and nervousness. He raised his camera carefully and quietly, trying his best to avoid making any noise that could give away his presence
He could feel the warmth of Toya's body, so close but yet so far, he slowly peeked through the viewfinder and focused on Toya, his angelic figure framed perfectly within the small rectangle of the lens…
Snap!
Picture taken! Akito Briefly moved to hide by the Aisle of the bookcase he was leaning on where he looked at Toya as he looked at the photo he just took
Toya: mh? must have been my imagination…
And with that, Akito went back to his previous position, admiring Toya from afar as the taller had returned to taking care of the books
Toya: ah, Azusawa-San?
Azusawa: Hello Aoyagi-Kun! Shiomiya-Chan told me that we're going to have a quick meeting tomorrow
Akito never noticed it, but now he can see that a petite girl with Sandy Blonde Shoulder length low twin-tails had approached Toya, however, even if he was looking at Toya, he felt anger, but not the normal anger he felt normally when he was really irritated
this new feeling has to be jealousy, he did not want anyone stealing Toya away from him, he… he…
Toya and that disgusting girl left… he decided to go back to his dorm and try to calm himself down… and so he did… he laid on the bed, unable to calm down because of that girl… he had a bad feeling about her…
Suddenly, he heard his phone vibrate, he grabbed it and saw that a mysterious number had sent them a text message…
???: Hey
Akito: Who are You?
???: I saw you stalking one of my classmate’s closest friends
How did this person know that he was Stalking Toya? how did he not notice them? who even are they? and why are they even messaging them about it?
Akito: my apologies, but it must have either been a misunderstanding, or you’re texting the wrong person
???: you don’t have to play dumb with me, i want to help you, do you want some information about the girl who approached him?
Suddenly, Akito got intrigued
Akito: you’ve got my attention
???: This is Kohane Azusawa, she has a crush on him
along with that irritating discovery, was a picture of the blonde girl from before, in a train
???: she decided that she will confess her love to him next week on Friday, underneath the cherry tree behind Mikudemy at 6 PM
???: do you know the myth? if you propose your love under that tree on a Friday, the other person cannot refuse your confession
Akito was… surprised that someone knew… yet wanted to help him… but why…?
Akito: why are you telling me this
???: my school life will finally get interesting if something TERRIBLE happened to her… you happen to be the best student to approach for such an occasion
Who even is this person and why do they want to see this girl suffer to… just entertain themselves?
Akito: who is this
???: Have you ever heard of the student who knows everything?
Akito: the rumor of a student of Mikudemy who is bored with their life because they know everything about everyone and everything that they teach at that school…
???: you got it spot on, that’s exactly how my current life is
Akito: Are you trying to say that you’re that student?
Akito: Do you think that I'll believe your claim?
???: yes, wanna hear a secret i know?
Akito: if it proves anything, yes
???: well
???: a Student called Akito Shinonome, someone who hides his lack of emotions behind a mask, has bumped into Toya Aoyagi and managed to fall in love with him right on the spot
Akito: how do you know that?!
Akito was shocked, but then… he realized
Akito: oh
???: exactly
Akito: Well, who are you supposed to be? Your real name?
???: the bored know-it-all you’re talking to right now is Mafuyu Asahina
Akito: Asahina…
Mafuyu: if you accept my help, it’ll be a Win-Win situation
Akito: which is?
Mafuyu: i’ll get to finally feel entertained, and you’ll get an easier time getting all of Toya Aoyagi for yourself
that was it, Akito HAS to team up with Mafuyu, she’ll be a powerful ally…
Akito: I guess that’s a good deal
Akito: alright, i’ll accept your help
Mafuyu: good
Mafuyu: remember, you have until 6 PM of next Friday to eliminate her before Toya will be out of your reach forever
Mafuyu: i hope you’ll entertain me
Akito: Don’t worry
Akito: She’ll never see it coming
He accepted Mafuyu’s help… he put the phone back down where it was before…
Akito: (a win-win situation…)
Akito now… had someone who'll help him get rid of this “Kohane Azusawa” now, one of his sister’s own friends was willing to help him commit and get away with anything twisted he'd plan to do to his new rival to stop her from stealing Toya… his beloved Angel… his darling… away from him
Akito: That Bitch doesn't love him the same way I do…
Akito stood up and started chuckling to himself
Akito: She will never see it coming… good luck staying alive… Kohane Azusawa
Now, he was officially unable to back out of this, and he was willing to get through this whole scenario without failing even once during it
He was going to get Toya, no matter what he'll have to do to make the boy all his
Toya will become His…
He won't have a choice…
