Chapter Text

Halloween is a time for tricks and treats but tonight will go above and beyond the call of fun. For when they roam, the streets will fill with frights.

In Chinatown Metro city

Chilly:Alright guys that's good! A little more, perfect. Streamers up and ready. I've never felt more exited in my life.   

Chung li:Yep the place is looking great for tonight. How's the banner Kimberly?   

Kimberly:It's going well, check this out. She moved out of the way as it showed the full banner.

Welcome to the Midnight bash! Spelled out in orange with spider webs in silver in a black background and all else in purple splotches.

Chilly:Woah awesome!   

Kimberly:Gee thanks, I figured that the purple would really work with the black. 

Chilly:And nice use of silver spray paint for the web's.   Kimberly:Aw now your being too kind but hey I don't mind.

"You guys done already?"   

Chilly:You bet coach!   Luke:Nice job Kim.   

Kimberly:Thanks man. So how's the set up going?

Luke:Heh it's going great and check this out.

He walked behind the Djing set and turned it on.

Kimberly:So what can this thing do?   

Luke:I made a few tweaks to the stereo so it can make the music more hearable for those who are not that close to the back. Think you can sync your phone to see?   Kimberly:Alright.

She managed to sync her phone with the system and put on some old school music.

Kimbely:There!

But when the music came on it blasted in everyone's faces as they covered their ears with their hands.

Chung li:Luke what the heck?!! Turn it off!   Luke:Turning off!

He unsynced the set with Kimberly's phone returning the place to being quiet.

Luke:Guess I have to adjust the volume and range again.   

Chilly:Well at least we know it works. So that's decorations, invites, banner, music out of the way. All we need now is food.

Kimberly:What about the stage for the contest?   

Chilly:It's taken care of, Chung li said we can use the pagoda in the center as the stage.   Kimberly:Huh that's pretty clever.

[Be-ep Be-ep] a flashy ring tone rang out promping Chilly to answer.

Chilly:Oh hang on guys Jamie's calling.   Luke:Ugh man right now?   Chilly:Let me put it on video chat. She answered the call with Jamie appearing on screen.   "Yo! What's good guy's?"

Chung li:Oh Jamie how's it going?   

Jamie:Hey Chung li, hey babe.   

Chilly:Hi honey, you getting ready?   Jamie:Yeah but I'm also helping the others get ready as well.   Chilly:Oh your bringing a plus one?

Jamie:More like plus a four.   

Luke:What?! Your bringing your cousins and their friends along?   "Hey we heard that!"   Jamie:Ease up Yun.

Yun then appeared next to Jamie in a white shirt, red vest and a red cap different from his normal cap with his hair unbraided in a ponytail.

Yun:You Ok?   Chung li:Aw your going as Terry this year? Oh that is so cute.   Yun:[Blush] Ah hey.   

"Yeah downside is that he was trying to do power waves and even broke 4 vases trying to do a Buster wolf this month alone. "   Chung li:Hey Yang.

Kimberly:Woah your get up is radical man!   

Yang:Oh thanks.

He came on screen in a fighter pilot like action suit with his hair slick downwards for once, until it came back up.

Yang:Aw man again?   Yun:You'll have to excuse him he's trying to tame his hair for hours.   Yang:Yeah I even used hairspray to keep it down, but to no avail.

Chung li:Well you both look great. Oh but what about Hoimei?   

Yun:Uh well......   "Double Double toil and trouble fire burn and couldren bubble!"   Yun:Ah geez.

Hoimei was behind Yun in a wiches costume with Shaoimei being in a similar one.   

Shaoimei:Hey guy's!   

Hoimei:Neyahahaha! Good morrow Ms 117.

Chilly:Oh wiches classic.   Kimberly:Dang! Awesome!   Hoimei:I know right?   

Yun:She keeps reciting the same stupid quotes, it's tiring.   

Hoimei:Excuse me, we are two of the wiches from the play Mcbeth FYI and so to actually make it believable I have to embrace that character.

Yang:And what characters you chosen nothing more memorable than those three.   Hoimei:Mhmm.   

Shaoimei:Uh let's see.... Eye of newt and toe of frog, uh w-woll of bat and tongue of dog. Was that right?

Hoimei:Oh yes quite. Achem Calls the spirit of firery troubles-   

Yang:Let thou hell brought boil and bubble.   Hoimei:Neyahahaha! Perfect Perfect!

Jamie:Well anyway guess what I'm going as.   Chilly:A jiangshi.   Jamie:How did you guess?   

Luke:Cause your costume is literally behind you.   

Jamie:Ah. He turned to see the costume on a couch behind him. Well still can't wait, so see ya there?

Chilly:You bringing the Meat buns?   Jamie:You bet I will.   Chilly:Hehe great, see you then! [Beep] she ended the call heading back to working on the party.

Kimberly:Oh shoot. Gotta go back I need to get my costume ready as well.   Chung li:Same here.   

Chilly:That's fine I'll help Luke with the sound system then I'll get home and make my costume.

Chung li:Sounds like a plan, we'll see you at 8.   Kimberly:See ya! The two of them left as Chilly and Luke got back to work.

Meanwhile in the Makai

In another relm monsters gather at a palace and within the halls siting at a large table in the dining room as each one comes in one by one each one more different than the last.

[Bap, bap, bap] the sound of a gravel hits on the table by a vampire as the room silence itself.

Demitri:Welcome. Now let the meeting of monsters to begin. I called apon each of the most frightening monsters have gathered far and wide for this meeting. Morrigan and Lilith representing succubuse's.

Lilith:Tehe.

Demitri:Jon Talbain representing werewolves.   J.Talbain:Hmph 

Demitri:Felicia representing the catwomen, Hshien-ko and Mei-ling representing jiangshis.

Hshien-ko:Yo.

Demitri:Rikuo representing the fish men, and of course B.B. Hood representing [Sigh] humans. And of course I Demitri Maximoff representing the Vanpire Clang.

Morrigan:Thanks Demitri but can we start this alredy? I'm starting to get bored and we just started.   

Rikuo:[Sigh] Yes I agree may we get to the point?

Hshien-ko:Question, why is B.B. Hood even here I mean she's not even a monster.   

B.B. Hood:Don't underestimate me [Grins].   Hshien-ko:Oh-kay but seriously shut up and get to the good stuff.

Demitri:Fine. Now who asked to call for this meeting?   

Morrigan:Ugh I did. She stood up and whent to the front of the table and took the gavel from Demitri. Thank you.   

Demitri:Just get this over with Morrigan.

Morrigan:Now I call this meeting to discuss an important matter, as you all know tonigh will be the one night of the year where we can truly be us, celebrated as who we are.

Felicia:Oh my Halloween is here alredy? That was quick.   

J.Talbain:It hasn't been that long you know.   Felicia:Well it didn't feel long that's for sure.

Morrigan:Anyway I was with Lilith and we just so happened to see an interesting sight.   

Mei-ling:Well tell us then Morrigan.   

Hshien-ko:Yeah spill it girl!   Morrigan:We saw a venue preparing for some sort of event through our mirror.

Lilith:Is it a party?   

J.Talbain:Where is this event taking place?   Morrigan:The human world.   J.Talbain:What?! 

Morrigan:Oh relax I'm sure it's not an attack on us Jon.   

Rikuo:Well how would we know then?!   

Morrigan:Look back to what I was saying, Lilith insisted on...[Sigh] traveling there.

Almost Everyone:[Gasp]

Lilith:What? We can't miss this I mean isn't this ment to be the one day where we can roam the world freely without any worry?

Mei-ling:Well yes but most people aren't fully.... welcoming of our kind Lilith.   

J.Talbain:Yeah and for all we know they could be planing to strike!   

Demitri:So they're planning to hold those event tonight? (This might be my chance.) Hm well if that's the case, then I believe we should sneak in and take them down from inside.

Hshien-ko:So your planing on draging us into the human world to crash a party? Oh yes I'm in!   

Felicia:I wouldn't mind some fun either.   

J.Talbain:But if we're found out they'll chase us out! And by God those blokes oughta be sorted out! [Slam]

Demitri:Enough! Now I wouldn't mind seeing this event for it has peaked my own interest.   

Morrigan:Oh really? You just want to destroy those humans don't you?   

Rikuo:She has a point your motivation might as well be different from our own.   

Hshien-ko:Yeah besides you would totally dich us to try to fight a human the moment you get there, right?   

Demitri:Silence!

B.B. Hood:Well what if we let ourselves in? We go to the event and say we were invited to Go in thire trust, so by then-   

Morrigan:They don't see through us.   B.B. Hood:Exactly.   

Hshien-ko:Huh not bad, guess there's some smarts in that crazy head of yours then.

Lilith:Soooooo? Are we going? Are we going Are we going?   Morrigan:Uuuugh! Yes,yes,yes we're going Lillith!   Lillith:Yes.   

J.Talbain:So tonight we travel to the human world and infiltrate this event all in favor say aye.

Hshien-ko:Aye!   Mei-ling:Aye.   Rikuo:Aye.   B.B. Hood:Aye hehe.   Felicia:Aye.   Demitri:Hm Aye....   Lilith:Aye Aye!   Morrigan:And as will I. Aye.

Demitri:So we all agree, we set off tonight.   

Mei-ling:Agreed.   Hshien-ko:Dito.

Felicia:Wait tonight tonight?   

Morrigan:That's right.   Felicia:Oh dear, um guys I have this thing tonight and I don't want to miss that and-

Hshien-ko:Ah Don't worry you can do what you need on the infiltration.   Felicia:Well if you say so. Then I'll definitely come tonight 

Morrigan:Now with that settled the meeting is adjourned. [Bam!] 

Each of the monsters left as others were preparing to Mei-ling turned into her talisman form and whent with Hshien-ko. Hshien-ko:Let's go sis.

J.Talbain and Felicia left before them. J.Talbain:Allow me. [Holds the door] After you.   Felicia:Oh thanks.

Rikuo also left behind them while B.B. hood skipped out of the room almost smiling. But before Morrigan and Lilith would go she stopped behind Demitri and both glared at eachother.

Demitri:I do hope you don't mess this up. This will be an important night for us.   

Morrigan:I was going to say the same thing.   

Demitri:[Turns his head away from her] Normally we would be fighting, but consider this a temporary alliance for... tonight.

Morrigan:Hm Noted.   

Lilith:Come on sis! Are we going or what? 

Morrigan:I'm coming. She gets up to Lilith as they fused together before taking off. Morrigan:Shall we go?   Lilith:(You bet!)

Demitri:(To join forces with my most bitter rival and even two of the darkhunters will be somthing for the ages. The humans will never see us coming until theire demise.)

He watches as the others exited his castle as he sees his plans growing into fruition.

Chinatown Metro city 

The lights around the area shines bright as the candles burn in the pumpkins in front of the pagoda all is almost in place.

Chilly:Ok tabels for the buffet setted up, the Dj turntable is set and sound checked, and decorations are all done. Perfect and with my costume ready all that's needed now are the guests.

But beyond where she was the Darkstalkers have her in her sights specifically from above a building as B.B. Hood kept watch.

Morrigan:Do you see anything yet?   B.B. Hood:Not yet but I do see..... oh! There's people coming.   Morrigan:Oh people huh?

While they were keeping watch J.Talbain and Felicia are kinda.... busy.

J.Talbain:Remind me why you drought over your friends?

Two other cat like people similar to Felicia are running around annoying the normally calm wolf.

Felicia:I tried to tell you guys that the other girls asked me to take care of Alto, Nana, Mimi and Nonno while they're away.   

J.Talbain:So your babysitting while you're friends are out?   Felicia:Pretty much.

Nana:Woah what's down there?   

Mimi:It looks so pretty Nana!   Felicia:Guys calm down.   

Alto:There aren't going to be humans there [Gulp] will there?   Felicia:Unfortunately so Alto but don't worry we'll be fine.

Lilith:Hey over here! The other Darkstalkers whent to Liliths direction as she saw a big group of people coming to the entrance.

Demitri:So they're finally gathering here, right on time.   

Morrigan:(I know what your planing Demitri but we'll intervene if you decide to unleash it.) As we thought.

Hshien-ko:Dang those are some weird get ups huh?   

J.Talbain:Could they be traditional clothing for this ceremony?   

Rikuo:Could be.

Back on the ground the guests began to come in as Chilly was ready to welcome them starting with Chung li.

Chilly:Oh Chung li nice costume. That Phoenix outfit is so cool.   

Chung li:Wow thanks I must say I didn't really expect you to go this all out.   

Chilly:Aw hehe. She then felt a tap behind her as Chung li saw who was behind her. "Pardon me missy."

Chung li:Oh hey Ken.   Ken:I must say this will be quite the party will it? [Tips his hat downwards] But he got a bit of a surprise as Chilly turned to see him.

Ken:Ah! Oh Chilly I didn't see you there. Thought you were Chung li for a sec.   

Chilly:[Adjust her bun covers] Aw thanks, I mean I feel like the tights were much but hey it works with the outfit.

Chung li:Gotta say your cowboy outfit is pretty good as well.   Ken:Thank you ma'am.   "Hey Ken, though it was you." Suddenly someone in a biker like outfit came towards the three.

Chilly:Oh Ryu! Hey there.   Ryu:Oh Ms 117 you look great this eavning, as do you Ken and Chung li.   Ken:Thanks partner.   

Chung li:Glad you could make it.

Ryu:Thank you for inviting me, it's quite an honor.   

Chilly:Please come in.

Ken:Shall we partner? The two of them whent in as others came for Chilly and Chung li to greet.

Jamie:Hey guy's!   

Yang:Yo!   

Hoimei:Neyaha good morrow fair maidens.   Chilly:Wow you guys weren't kidding. These are great.   

Yun:We know.   

Yang:Just try not to destroy anything trying to do a burning knuckle please.   Yun:Oh come on I didn't do much damage oh and did you decide to to leave your hair like that? 

Yang:[Grumble] I couldn't get it to stay down. And tell that to the last vase you broke!   "What's this about man?"

Someone came up to the group wearing a white shirt and a Red jacket with a star in the back.

Chung li:Oh looks like our guest of honor came on time.   

Yang:Wait you're......   

Yun:Terry Bogard!   

Terry:Well well a mini me, you got good taste bro.

Yun:Ah th-th-thank you. (I'm actually standing near "The" Terry Bogard, this is so cool!) Um uh you can call me Yun I-if you want.   

Hoimei:Starstruck are we?   Yun:Shut it Hoimei I don't want this moment to go to waste.   

Terry:Well I'll see you guys in there.

He walked into the area with Yun still Starstruck from the encounter.

Jamie:We better head in too.   

Chilly:Oh since some of the guest won't be here for a while wanna help me set up the buffet? It's Boyt after all, bring your own treats.   

Jamie:Heheh sounds good Shaoimei wanna help?

Shaoimei:Alright, I alredy have the Meat buns so that's one thing out of the way.

Chung li:Great. I'm also going to need help with the punch. Hoimei, Yun wanna help?   

Yun:What? (Me work with her? I mean we alredy done that on a daily basis.) Uh no sorry been there done that.

Hoimei:Oh quit complaining Yun just come on. [Drags Yun by the hand]   

Yang:I'll go with them, better do what I can to prevent a fight from breaking out.

He whent with the others as Chilly, Jamie and Shaoimei helped get started on the buffet while (To Yuns annoyance) He and Hoimei will be helping Chung li out with the punch.

Chung li:Ok we have what we need. Yun Poor the water in the pot alright?   

Yun:Sure whatever. [Grabs the picher]   

Chung li:Oh and Hoimei make sure the power is put in as well will you?

Hoimei:Sure!   Chung li:And make sure it's stirred properly while I get the other stuff.   Hoimei:Alright then. She opened the packet as Yun poured the water in the pot then poured in the powder and started stirring.

Meanwhile 

B.B. Hood:Hm looks like thire making somthing.   

Mei-ling:But what?   

Lilith:Maybe I can try to hear what they're saying.

Morrigan:Are you sure?   

Lilith:Garenteed sure!   Morrigan:Okay then.   Lilith:Now let's see.

She began to hear Hoimei as she and Yun made the punch only catching onto some stuff.

Hoimei:Neyahahaha!   Yun:(Dose she have to do this now?)   Hoimei:Double Double toil and trouble fire burn and couldren bubble!   

Yun:There's no fire Hoimei.

Hshien-ko:So? What's she saying?   

Lilith:Hm I think she mentioned a fire and a couldren.   

Rikuo:Luckily I see a lack of fire right now.

Hoimei:Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf wiches mommy maw engulf!   

Yun:[Looks at the cantaloupe and strawberries next to her] You do mean the cantaloupe and strawberry slices right?   

Hoimei:Just put them in!   Yun:Fine.

Lilith:Now thers somthing about a tooth of wolf?   

J.Talbain:Tooth of what?!   Lilith:Oh nevermind it's just strawberries.

Hoimei:Oh the raving great sea shark!   Yun:And by that you mean choped honeydew. [Plops in the peices of honeydew]   Hoimei:Root of hemlock.   Yun:[Puts in Apple slices]

Hshien-ko:Apparently the "root" equals apples.

Hoimei:Dig in the dark.   Yun:Just say poor in the sugar.   Hoimei:In. The dark!   Yun:Fine geez!

Lilith:Dig what in the dark?   

Felicia:Looks to me they're making punch, I mean it's just fruit in a punch powder infused water.   

Hshien-ko:Thanks Ms obvious.

Chung li:Almost done?   Yun:Almost!

Morrigan:So they're making some concoction for this event. Interesting.   Lilith:Oh I see more people!   

J.Talbain:Looks like they're containing something in that box, but what?   

Another person came to the entrance leading Chilly to go and greet them.

Chilly:Well well another guest.   "Why hello there. Fancy seeing you again Ms 117."   Chilly:Oh Cammy cute outfit.

Cammy:Thanks, took me hours to find but hey can't go wrong with cats.   

Chilly:Hm I see. Oh did you bring the pie?   Cammy:Brought it over, undamaged.   Chilly:Great, knew you were up to this.

Chung li:Oh Cammy. Glad you came.   Cammy:Oh Chung li. I love the phoenix outfit.   Chung li:Thanks. I really love your cat outfit as well.   

Cammy:Aw thanks. [Raised her cat mask.] I also brought the pie.

Chilly:The main centerpiece of the party.   "Oh great more chump level costumes."   Chung li:Oh great. What do you want Juri?

Juri came up to the three of them in a nurse's costume.

Cammy:What do you wish to do Juri han?   

Juri:What? Can't a girl just have some fun?   

Chilly:Guys calm down. Now Juri brought anything?

Juri:This answers things? [Holds out a tray of Candy apples]   Chung li:Oh nice choice, just place them on one of the tables.   Juri:Thanks.....

As the start of the night whent on more and more guests came in by the number's from old pals to current masters and as soon as the last two guests arrived they struggled to get their dish up front.

Chilly:Finally the last guest are here.   "Dude be careful."   "Easy sis I got this."   Ken:Ey Sean, Laura need help?

Laura:No were good!   

Sean:Actually we might need a little help.   Laura:Oh put your back into it little bro.   Sean:Can you not!?

Chilly:Oh no you guys go on in, your just in time anyhow. She ran over to the two siblings and helped carryover their tray.

Laura:Ah thanks.   Chilly:No prob, what is it you brought over anyhow?   Laura:Just some picko de guyo and chips. Nothing much.   Chilly:Awsome. [Puts down the tray at one of the tables]

Sean:Thanks.   Chilly:Now that all the guests are here let's start this bash with a bang shall we?

She whent up to the pagoda with a microphone and switched it on.

Chilly:Hello all gouls and guys, tonight I will be you're haunted hostess with the mostest! For the entire night I will be seeing how things are going and make sure everything doesn't go south K?

Lilith:it's starting guy's.   B.B. Hood:What is going on though?

Chilly:I love to thank you all for coming. As well as a thanks to our guest of honor for coming as well, shout out to Terry Bogard give him a hand folks!

The whole crowd applauded as Terry stood up.

Terry:Ah shucks thank you, I really mean it. Really.

Felicia:[Claps repeatedly fast]   

Morrigan:Is that really necessary Felicia? You'll blow our position.

Felicia:Hey It's not everyday you get to see "The Terry Bogard" in a place like this, it's quite a once in a full moon opportunity after all.

Morrigan:Oh-kay Felicia. But you can fawn over him when it's time to go in.

Lilith:Hey quite I can't hear her talk.   Morrigan:Sorry Lilith.

Chilly:And I also like to thanks Dee Jay for coming out here tonight!

Dee Jay:Glad to be here with ya mon! Ha Ha, let's get this party started people!

Chilly:You bet we will. And don't forget tonight's contest where we will find the best costume in show!

Yun:I'm definitely going to beat all of you.

Hoimei:Thou should watch thyselves.   

Yun:Oh you focus on your hamlet can ya?   Hoimei:It's Mcbeth you infantile dummy!   Yun:Who cares?!

Chilly:Hey you two save the argument or we'll be up all night! Actually it's lucky some of us can stay all night but we ain't vampires you know.

The crowd uproared in laughter as Luke banged his fist at the table.

Luke:Ahahahahaha! [Thump!, Thump!] Ah nice one kid!

Chilly:Thank you thank you, you're too kind. Hehe. [Bows]

Demitri:Tch theire taste in humor is not really to my liking.

Hshien-ko:Ya think?

Mei-ling:Now Hshien-ko I'm sure it is only a jest and-

Felicia:Uh guy's where's Mimi and Nana?

Morrigan:We're you not keeping an eye on them?   Felicia:I was busy clapping for Terry I didn't notice they ran off.

Hshien-ko:Ah great job.   Felicia:I really hope we can find them. I don't want them to be lost out there.

Lilith:Er guys you may need to look at this.

They perched over the leadge or thire hiding spot and saw the twins from below.

Morrigan:What are they doing down there!? They'll give our positions away!

Rikuo:Then let's go down there and get them ourselves.   Demitri:Then we'll give ourselves away!   

Felicia:Well I'm going down there myself! (They better have a good explanation for this.)

Felicia whent down the building and ran into the street in the direction of the party with Nonno and Alto following her.

Alto:Hey please don't leave me behind!

Nonno:Wait up you two! 

Lilith:Girls we have to stay here!   Morrigan:Don't think they're listening to reason Lilith.   Lilith:Awwww.

B.B Hood:Should we be going down as well?   Hshien-ko:Doesn't look like we've got a choice.

Morrigan:We might as well but we stay close so no one else runs off. Got that?   

Hshien-ko:Yeah whatever we get it, now let's head down and make sure Felicia's buddies don't ruin this for us.

The other Darkstalkers climbed down from their spot and whent after Felicia who was after Nana and Mimi.

Chilly:And now without further ado, I- huh? [Felt her costume being tuged]

Nana and Mimi:[Looks at Chilly] Hi!   Chilly:Oh uh hi. [Waves awkwardly] are you..... here for the party?

Laura:Uh who are they?

Sean:Don't think I seen them before.

Jamie:Are they... new here?

The crowd was baffled with the two of them up there till Felicia came up to them from behind.

Felicia:Guys you know you shouldn't run off like that I was worried.   Nana:Sorry Felicia.   Mimi:Yeah sorry about that.

Chilly:Oh I take it they're with you.   Felicia:Uh yes they ran off and I was dearly worried.   Chilly:Oh well they weren't causing too much trouble so I can forgive that.

Felicia:Thanks. Now let's head back you two.

Lilith:Hey are you guys done?   Morrigan:Shhhh! Lilith!   Lilith:What?

Chilly:Oh I see you brought some friends as well.   Felicia:Oh huh uh.... (I thought they would stay back.)   Chilly:Well what more guest would do? Come on and join in!

Morrigan:Huh?   Hshien-ko:Should we... join them?

J.Talbain:I think she's planning on trapping us here.

Mei-ling:Still it should be better for us to avoid suspicion this way.    Hshien-ko:She's got a point guys.

Demitri:Grrrrr fine.

The others stepped out from where they were hidding puting the crowd in confusion and shock.

J.Talbain:(Why did she think this was a good idea?!)

Jamie walked up to Chilly concerned about this as Chilly herself was unshaken of the sudden appearance.

Jamie:Uh are you sure inviting them is alright?

Chilly:Honey I know what I'm doing, besides the more the marrier right?   

Jamie:But doesn't something comes off to you? Like there's something about them that I don't trust.   

Chilly:You say that about almost everyone, besides what's a few more people to come in for the fun huh?   

Jamie:Alright fine! But any funny business from them and they'll hear it from me.   

Chilly:Hey no fighting the guest sweetie. Thought I specified that in the invite.   Jamie:[Sigh] fine.   

Lilith:Eeeeeee thank you! [Hugs Chilly and Jamie]

Jamie:Uh can let go... please?!   Lilith:Oh sorry my bad. [Let's go of the hug]

Chilly:Anyways now that's out of the way let's really start this fright fest off!

The party started off full swing. Many people began to chat it up and the music was spooky banging loud, but some of the Darkstalkers tried staying away from most of the crowd.

Lilith:Come on guys this is a party, try to at least have some fun.

Morrigan:Lilith we can't be engaging with these...mortals like this.

J.Talbain:Agreed.   

Lilith:Aw guys don't be such a downer. Besides if we want to trust them then we need to build trust this is the perfect time to get to know them. 

Morrigan:Hm I guess that doesn't sound too bad.

Hshien-ko:Hello, we can't reveal that we're "real" monsters or they'll go bullistick on us!

Lilith:Guy's can't we just hang out and get to know the other people here?

B.B. Hood:Uh yes I am. (At least I have the best chance to gain their trust, I doubt the others will last as long. Bet Talbain will bite it first. Oooh that will be fun to see.)

Cammy:What's your name little miss?   

B.B. Hood:Oh I'm Baby Bonny Hood, but you can call me B.B. Hood for short. Or Bulleta most people call me that. 

Cammy:Actually I feel more comfortable addressing you as B.B. Hood. That sounds like a adorable name for a little lady like yourself.

B.B. Hood:Oh erm thanks...

Cammy:At the moment my sister is doing a small mission though, she's trying to pinpoint the location of one of our most fierce foes.

B.B. Hood:So your more focused on the future, then on money?

Cammy:That's right beside I only have a distaste for those who harms others for theire own twisted desires.

Cammy:But you? you're alright in my book I mean I never really met someone as nice as you, well except Ms 117.

Cammy:Oh yes you see some of the guest here are also teachers to Ms 117 like myself we trained her in our ways of fighting.

B.B. Hood:So you teach her how to fight?   

Cammy:Mhmm we teach her a few fighting styles like Luke teaches her mix martial arts,Chung li teaches her Kung fu, and well I teach her a few techniques of my trade so on an so forth.   

B.B. Hood:Oh I see.   

Cammy:Yep besides how she uses the moves we teach her is what makes her a great student.   B.B. Hood:Hm miss Cammy?   Cammy:Oh yes B.B. Hood?   

B.B. Hood:Do you think you could... teach me a few techniques?   Cammy:Huh? Are you sure about that?   B.B. Hood:Yes I'm definitely sure.   

Cammy:My techniques are quite deadly and I'm unsure if a young girl like yourself would want to undergo such trainings.

Cammy:Sorry!   Yun:Uh no prob? He picked up his hat and dusted it off before putting it back on.

B.B. Hood:So, how did I do?   Cammy:Oh uh....I-

Cammy was stunned at the impressive knife throw B.B. Hood demonstrated at that moment. Despite it she still doubts about teaching her first hand.

Cammy:I must say you... kinda did well.   

B.B. Hood:Tehe thank you.   

Cammy:But I kinda still find you a little young to be fighting or at least use weapons like your knife.

B.B. Hood:........   Cammy:Well...maybe I'll consider it after the party.   B.B. Hood:Really? [Grins]   

Cammy:Well if that's what you want.

Cammy:Er your welcome. You know after the party I've been considering doing a little sparring session with miss 117 but if you have some time on your hands you can visit us in London if you want.

B.B. Hood:Oh Hehe, thanks I'll think about it. (Her fighting style might be useful against those Darkstalkers. They won't know what striked them.) She soon heard her stomach grumble a bit.

Cammy:Looks like this conversation is taking quite a bit out of you huh?   

B.B. Hood:I am feeling a little hungry, is there anything to eat?   

Cammy:I believe there are some candy apples on one of the tables back there so a little snack wouldn't hurt.

B.B. Hood:(Apples?) [A small glimmer in her eyes shows] Hmm! Yes please!   Cammy:Candy apples it is then. Now let's see where they are, come on.

Cammy whent to one of the buffet tables where the candy apples were with B.B. Hood following her with excitement.

Cammy:Don't fall behind now.   B.B. Hood:Don't worry I'm coming. (You know what? This human is a keeper.)

Hshien-ko sees the twins near a crowd of other party goers and is tempted to see what they're going on about.

Hshien-ko:Hey sis, think we should see what those guy's over there are yapping about?

Mei-ling:Hshien-ko the amount of people over there is at least concerning. I suggest we stay put.

Hshien-ko:Sis quit being a drag, besides were ment to be building trust here.   

Mei-ling:I suppose that was our intended goal at the moment but I feel like we should be fine with at least one or two guest.

Hshien-ko:Whatever I'm heading there now, bunch of people or not.   Mei-ling:Then I will come.   Hshien-ko:What happened with staying put?

Mei-ling:Well someone must keep your "Inner Jiangshi" at bay.   Hshien-ko:Yeah, Yeah I get it let's just go.

They walked towards the crowd of people west to them seeing a crowd. Some in costumes that were unique and others were.......questionable.

Yun:Oh hey you two are the weird guests from earlier right?

Hshien-ko:Uh yeah so?   Yun:Thats a neat costume though.   Hshien-ko:Oh theses are-   Mei-ling:One of a kind costumes.   Hshien-ko:[Wispers] Hey what gives?

The lady in the puffy light blue and white dress who was addressed as Karin stepped forward and moved her mask prop away from her face reavealing it to Hshien-ko and Mei-ling.

Yun:Yeah yeah blah blah whatever.   Yang:Sorry about that, people can get on his nerves almost too easily.   Yun:Hey!

Yang:Bro a Jiangshi is a part of Chinese mythology and folklore, they form whenever someone is unable to move on after a unhonorable death, taking thire own life, or just to make mayhem. Those are what they are usually dressed in mythology.

Hoimei:Then let us see thy trick.   Hshien-ko:Oh I will.[Pulls out 3 swords] ready for this? She proceeded to throw them up and catching them repeatedly and picking up speed as she did so, juggling them at a quick pace.

Menat:Woah!   Laura:Awsome!   Yun:Woah how are you doing that?!   Hshien-ko:Lotsa practice my friend.   Mei-ling:(Hope your careful Hshien-ko.)   

Hshien-ko:Hup! [Throws the swords] and Hup! [Backfliped as her arms morphed into her sleeves] And nowwww- Hai! She used her chain claw to wrap around a pole and caught each sword at once. Landing as she put her hands (or claws in this case) together in a traditional pre bow stance.

Yun:.... That..... Was so totally awesome!   Kimberly:Yeah! I mean how did you do that?!   Rose:Very impressive.

Hshien-ko:Teshien! [Clang] oops. Her swords fell from her sleeves when she started to bow.   Mei-ling:Sister..... I apologize for her clumsiness at the moment.

Yang:Eh it's alright, Yun makes some mishaps almost all the time.   Laura:Yeah and Sean kina has a history of botching fights on the daily.   Shaoimei:Even Hoimei trips once in a while.

Yun:Not cool man!   Sean:Let's not bring that up right now.   Hoimei:Was that really necessary!?   Yun:Finally you spoke some English.

Karin:Then tell us.   Hshien-ko:Sorry that's only for me and sis to get, and you guys to ponder.   Jamie:Aw man.   Makoto:Really?   Yun:Boo! -! [Ducks] Hey! A spiked ball was thrown at him luckily he ducked in time.

Hshien-ko:Sorry bout that. Slipped out of my hands, Tehe.   Yun:Yeah sure very funny of you.

The ball rolled off after hitting the wall  catching Nonnos attention as she chased after it.

Nonno:Come back here!

Mei-ling:Should we-?   Yun:Should you be-?   Hshien-ko:Eh I ain't worried, I'll get it back at the end of the night.   Mei-ling:If that's what you want then.   

Karin:Well this has been fun so far but I'm dreading the wait for the contest.   

Sakura:Well don't get your hopes up, it's not decided yet.   

Karin:Might as well will be. [Glares]   Sakura:Oh yeah? [Glares]

Menat:Hey why don't you enter?   Hshien-ko:Wha me?   Jamie:Two Jiangshis in a costume contest, not bad of a idea.

Sean:Yeah besides it looks great.   Makoto:How can you not join in?   Hoimei:Though thou is still rivaled by I.

Yun:Enough with the Shakespeare Hoimei!   Hoimei:Hmph thou isn't worth it.

A feeling of flames around them intensified as they sealed theire current mini rivalry for the contest as each of them hope to make it to the top.

Felicia and J.Talbain are sitting at one of the tables and Felicia is currently dealing with keeping the other 4 in line but J.Talbain is still skeptical of the party.

Felicia:Nonno leave that alone. Alto please don't hide behind Mr Talbain. And where's Nana and Mimi?

J.Talbain:Well how on earth would I know?!   Felicia:What's wrong? Come on you can tell me.   J.Talbain:I don't know...if I should.

Felicia:We're literally the only one's at the table at the moment, so what's up?   

J.Talbain:Grrrr, I have some uneasiness from this "party" as they call it.

They look beyond a few tabel to where Rose and Menat were standing at.

Nana and Mimi:Shrimp pasta! Ahhhhh.   

Nana:I want that pasta.

Nana:It's a buffet we can just get some.   Mimi:Are you sure? I mean we can just ask to go-

Nana ran off before Mimi could even finish her sentence as she followed behind her.

Back at the table

Chung li:Thats when Li fen said, "Jiejie If I can do a backflip your paying for the meat buns tonight." Then I said alright but you'll have to pay me back, so she tried to do the backflip from the stairs but Jamie started to come up she crashed into him!

Felicia:Ohh my! Then what happened?   

Chung li:Jamie was Ticked then Li fen said "Sorry didn't see ya." Then I said you're stills paying me back.

Felicia:Ahahahah! Oh my gosh that is so funny!   Chung li:I know heh!

Ken:Geez this whent longer then I thought.   Terry:Yeah and I thought Mai's shopping stories were boring.

When I fight I enjoy it and savor the moment the whole way through, I harness all my hard work and put everything I know into my battles. So I guess what I'm trying to say is...you can tell me of your struggles if you want, I won't make you if your not cool with it.

J.Talbain:I see...   

Terry:So wanna tell me what's going on? [Turns his chair backwards and sets his arms on top of the back]

J.Talbain:Fine... for a while now I've been... under pressure so to speak.   

Terry:Wait so like you had a rough fight or something?   J.Talbain:You could say that, but a fight I feel like I might lose to...... is myself.

Ken:So like an inner darkness within you?

J.Talbain:I fear at any given moment I may lose that battle, and at worst I could-

Ryu:I understand that feeling all too well, not knowing what your doing, potentially harming others it can be a trial.

Ken:Yep and losing all control? been there.   

Ryu:We know how it is like to go through this.

Felicia:Well Grace tackled Lucy for using her brush then Nonno came in with her ball and bumped into Lucy then they realized it was Nonnos brush.

Felicia:Yeah.... but I'm kinda worried about.... [Looks at J.Talbain]
