Frustration wells within Boothill’s circuits. For being ‘all ears’, it didn’t appear Argenti was getting a single thing he was trying to say. “Listen here, Knight, if I have to wait one more fudgin’ second—”
A small chime of sweet, gentle laughter, contrasted so very sharply by the filthy way Argenti leans in real close to his ear and says: “Show me how you want to be touched, dearest ranger.”
So, Boothill got tangled up with Argenti once in the decorated halls of Penacony's hotel. So, afterward, Argenti had reached out with an invitation to his own personal ship, the One and Only. It means nothing—and it never will, not even as Boothill steps foot onto what is looking to be the ride of his life.
