   Deacon and his husband, Nic, went on a mission to rescue some refugees. What seemed like unnecessary anxiety fueled the usually stern, confident Nic. The spy teased him silently in his mind all the time, especially then, but never now. All he has left from that mission is regret.

   A memory had never felt so heavy in his skull. It was a weight that pulled even his feet down. How could you tease a loved one based on a letter so sweet you never deserved it?

   Or... Deacon goes through grieving process after witnessing his husband (my oc, Nic) die. Ouch!
