    Yuuta felt as though he was filled with nausea, reverie and longing in equal measures, something that was once sadness and that had turned into something a little hopeful, despite everything. He knew he was awful, pathetic and hard to handle, that he’d already lost what he might’ve become had Rika never died, that the person he had been before that, was very likely the best version of himself he’d ever be.

    With all of that echoing around his mind, it was hard to believe he’d ever have something as grand as a soulmate.
