Work Text:

Sky frowned, nursing the cocktail in his hand and looking towards the bar where Prapai had gone to buy them all another round of drinks.

Sky, Rain, Sig, Por and Ple decided to celebrate the end of their 4th year and the beginning of summer by going out to the nightclub frequented by their faculty. Phayu and Prapai had joined their boyfriends as designated drivers and to make sure the group didn’t get into any trouble like they at times tended to do when out together.

However there was another reason for Prapai's presence there. He knew that Sky wouldn't allow himself to fully let go without worry of something happening. Clubs, like every place involving crowds and drunk people, still caused him to feel on edge. He feared his past shadows reappearing again or new ones joining his already sleepless nights. Sky tended to be the sober one on nights like these to ensure everyone's safety, so today Pai had joined them instead.

But none of that was on Sky’s mind now. Now his thoughts were occupied with murdering his beloved boyfriend.

“You look like you’re about to set her on fire,” Por nudged him, making Rain giggle beside Sky. The boy was so far gone already, sitting half on top of Phayu.

“You know you could just go up there?” Ple asked, looking towards the bar where the girl they were talking about laughed at something Prapai must’ve said.

Sky didn’t know whether he wanted to curl into a ball and cry or go up there and stick his tongue so far down Pai’s throat that no one else here would even think about looking at his boyfriend. With the amount of alcohol currently in his system he was tempted by the latter.

“I hate how frustratingly charming he is. Everyone is captivated by his stupid looks and hypnotised the second he opens his equally stupid mouth,” Sky crossed his arms, refusing to budge from his seat.

He could hear Phayu huff out a laugh, “He tends to use that charm to get his way with people, no one says no to him then. Well, except for you, you scold him all the time instead. It’s one of the reasons he became so captivated by you.”

The bartender finished setting down the last drink on their tray. Sky watched the girl take out her phone and try to hand it to Prapai. His frown deepened, however he knew what his boyfriend's reaction would be. Pai shook his head, saying something before looking towards their table. Both his and the girl's expressions dropped for different reasons and soon enough Pai was hurrying back.

“Someone’s in trouble,” Sig sing-sang.

Prapai pouted, confused on what he had done to earn such teasing. When he looked at Phayu, the man just shook his head before diverting his attention back to Rain, now passed out on top of him.

“Sky? What did I do? I promise I told her I have a wonderful boyfriend whom I love so so much.” Prapai slid back in beside Sky on the big leather couch. Sky downed the rest of his drink before reaching out for another one from the tray Pai brought.

“It’s nothing.”

Prapai’s eyes widened, whining like a kicked puppy and attaching himself to Sky’s side, grabbing onto his free hand.

“No baby please don't say that.” Prapai cradled Sky’s hand between his own and pressed it against his chest.

“What, you want to be in trouble like Sig said?”

“I'd much rather have you give out to me so I know what upset you than you dismissing it and being silently hurt.”

“Ugh, When will it be my turn to be disgustingly in love? Look at them, Cloud Jizz is soundly asleep on P’Phayu and P’Pai’s basically begging for forgiveness because he dares to be attractive and make Sky jealous,” Sig sighed dramatically.

“I’m not jealous.”

“Oh you’re sooo jealous,” Por smirked.

“You’re jealous?” Pai perked up, twisting around so he was facing Sky more. He ignored the quiet “whipped” he could hear Phayu mutter.

“I’m not jealous,” Sky repeated. “I just think you’re stupidly hot and it’s unfair that other people see it and think they have a chance with you. And you’re a natural flirt, that doesn’t help either.”

Prapai pouted again, laying his head down on Sky’s shoulder. “My Skyyy,” he whined once more, dragging out the last letter, “darling, the love of my life, please don’t be mad at your P’Pai. Phi loves Sky and only Sky.”

Sky put his drink down and jabbed a finger to Pai’s chest, “Will Phi stop flirting with everything that moves?”

“I wasn’t flirting with her-” Pai winced at the look he received and threw a quick glare at Phayu snickering behind him. “From now on I’ll start every conversation with strangers saying how much I love my incredible boyfriend and how he means the entire world to me.”

“You do that already,” Phayu deadpanned. “You quite literally do not shut up about N’Sky.”

“Will my honey forgive me for my inexcusable behaviour?”

“I think you should punish him, Sky.”

“Sig!” Ple slapped her friend on the arm. “P’Prapai is paying for our drinks, you can't say that.”

“You can take me home and I'll think about it,” Sky exclaimed seeing as everyone was pretty done with the night.

“I'll make it up to you baby.”

“And on that note, I think we'll better go. N’Ple I know Pai was meant to drive you back but if you want there's enough space in my car.”

Ple giggled nodding, deciding that it was better to let the lovebirds get home without any extra stops.

“Well then what are you waiting for Phi,” Sky let Prapai drag him up. As they walked hand in hand through the club he relished in the fact that the girl from earlier was watching them.

After all Prapai was taken and Sky wasn't one to share what was his.
