   Summary

   An AU where a Dalish Rook becomes a Grey Warden after being blighted. Davrin, Antoine, and Evka give her an emergency joining. Playing around with canon and wanted to show a tighter relationship between Davrin and Rook from the beginning. Friends to Lovers and a whole lotta angst.

   More darkspawn showed up. It happened fast then. A bite to her leg. One tackle to the ground. She reached for the lightning flask on her hip, but it was knocked out of her hand. Darkspawn blood from that bleeding arm in her eyes and mouth. It tasted like hatred. She screamed.

   She was dead.

   Only a deep growl and a screech. The thudding of bodies falling and cry of victory. The teeth and claws stopped rending her flesh. The darkspawn dead or scattered. Strong arms lifting her in the air. She started to shake. Her lungs burned. She couldn’t feel her hands or feet.
