Summary
Mingi’s feelings for Yunho never were a secret. Everyone knew. Their friends, their families, and most importantly, Yunho—because Mingi had confessed so many times it was almost a hobby. For years, Mingi had been Yunho’s ever-present sidekick, tagging along through childhood, late-night anime marathons, and even Yunho’s questionable habits. But after too many fights with Seonghwa and realizing his life revolved entirely around Yunho, Mingi did the unthinkable: for the first time, he stopped following Yunho.
And suddenly, Yunho noticed. The gaming sessions stopped. The dramatic sighs as Yunho lit up another joint got a little too real. Mingi wasn’t his shadow anymore, and it unsettled Yunho in a way he couldn’t ignore. So, naturally, he did what any mature person would do: he pushed harder. Teasing more. Joking closer to home. All to get a reaction, to keep Mingi close.
But deep down, Yunho knew it was unfair. Mingi’s feelings had never been a joke. Now, it was a game of push and pull—one Yunho wasn’t sure he knew how to win.
