Hello! Welcome to Battles Leave Scars. I've been working on this fanfiction for over two years now and I'm so very excited to get to share it on AO3 and with the fandom!
Speaking of the fandom, I want to make it exceptionally clear that I do not own Star Wars. (Though I wish I could) Most of the characters, items, planets, etc. all belong to Lucasfilm and the writers of Legends. Save for a few OCs and planet names I made up off the top of my head, I own nothing but the story. (Yes, this is a disclaimer, pls don't sue me)
Now, I was going to go into a whole dialog about why this book exists and blah blah blah, but I am way too tired for that, so just read the book and come to your own conclusions with those wonderful imaginations!
This is Act 1 of the Battles Leave Scars trilogy: Act 1: Dume, Act 2: Jarrus, Act 3, Syndulla. Each act is about 30-40 chapters, which comes in at roughly 170,000 words/950 paperback pages per act. I have the first act entirely written and I've already posted about 18 of them on Wattpad. I will try to get those transferred over in the next few days :)

I am a fulltime student, so please be patient with me. I promise I won't give up on this story even if it's been a while since I've posted.
Oh! If anyone (not that you will, just putting it out there) makes any fan-works, posts, or art of this story, please keep it within the age target that I've set on this book. Please keep it clean and refrain from slash as well. Good there? Great!
