    In "U.S. AGENT #2: Southern Hospitality (And Lack Thereof)" it's revealed that at roughly ten years old John's house burned to the ground with him still inside, his sister Katie ran back into their room, but only to grab her doll, leaving John in the fire despite him being savable. luckily he was saved by his older brother.

    This oneshot, however, is my MCU take on the housefire.

    What if there was no Katie to grab her doll? What if there was no big brother savior? How would this change him? And most importantly, how would this change the context of the Vault escape scene?
