Twin Peeks: The Case of the Missing Christmas Angel

Chapter 1: A Blue Rose Christmas?

Summary:

Gordon Cole has a particularly festive case for Chet and Sam to solve.

Notes:

I worked on this last year (2023). I started in advance, in November anyway, and then in December my sis posted a page/chapter every second day, all leading up to Christmas, at our page.

I listened to Chris Isaak's 2 Christmas albums and Jherek Bischoff's Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire Walk With Me, while working away at them and that fit the mood perfectly. I highly recommend playing those albums to help Twin Peaksize the season.

This year, I thought I'd post the fan comic here too. Some of the art is great, others ho hum (or should I say ho-ho-ho hum?) and others outright atrocious.

Still, tis the season.

I hope you enjoy and wish you a very Merry Christmas! :D <3

Notes:

This strangely enough was not the ending I had in mind. Originally, since I partly made this up along the way, it was supposed to have Chet open Sam's present and it be a guitar which lead to Chet performing "Almost Christmas" at the Roadhouse to all of Twin Peaks boogieing.

That obviously changed to something more sentimental.

However, like with most creative works, I find that original ending almost becoming a ghost itself, which haunts this finished work: I cannot help but conjure it whenever I remember this.

But, as I said before, ghost stories were often told at Christmas.

In any case, I hope you enjoyed this, if only a little, and I hope more that you have a wonderful Christmas and holiday season! God bless you and everyone! :D <3
