Summary

Summary
When they were little, they used to do this thing – light a single candle and sit criss-cross applesauce. Their seances. But that wasn’t actually what they were: there was no attempt to contact the dead, the other side, that which hides in the dark shadows beyond our reach. Instead they would concentrate very hard, their brows furrowed and eyes squinted closed with the force of it, and switch bodies.

Summary
Will Graham, age 19 and fresh out of the police academy, was born a Southern boy but had known and lived and waded through Twin Peaks since the start of Middle School. His mind was a curious and seemingly ineffable thing, and though the rest of the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Department liked him well enough, they didn't really... Get him.
Much in a similar manner that no one really GOT Laura Palmer, but her murder made it Will and everybody else's sudden responsibility to try and get to know her real well.It was curious, then, how the FBI agent sent to investigate seemed to understand parts of Will Graham that only the Log Lady had ever even begun to, and that the psychiatrist Will drove out to Seattle every Thursday to see for appointments knew without Will's permission or knowledge.
He'd see much play out, bizarre and deadly, in his dreams, much like always. Just with more relevance now, and with Dale Cooper dreaming too.

Summary
The direct sequel to Part I of the series.
Deputy Dale Palmer resigned from his position at the Twin Peaks sheriff station in the fall of ‘85, to the disappointment of his coworkers. His given reason was a sense of unfulfillment and a desire for something more, something grander and far-reaching. No one could object, and wished him luck, saying that whoever hired him next should be grateful to have him. Dale left town for Seattle that winter. Back in Twin Peaks, Laura Palmer blossomed further into a responsible student everyone figured she’d be. A stand-up citizen, gorgeous, and intelligent.
Over three years later, late January of 1989, the FBI arrives to reopen the year-old case of a murdered girl nobody noticed, and potentially cause problems for certain nefarious members of the community...
