Summary
The direct sequel to Part I of the series.
Deputy Dale Palmer resigned from his position at the Twin Peaks sheriff station in the fall of ‘85, to the disappointment of his coworkers. His given reason was a sense of unfulfillment and a desire for something more, something grander and far-reaching. No one could object, and wished him luck, saying that whoever hired him next should be grateful to have him. Dale left town for Seattle that winter. Back in Twin Peaks, Laura Palmer blossomed further into a responsible student everyone figured she’d be. A stand-up citizen, gorgeous, and intelligent.
Over three years later, late January of 1989, the FBI arrives to reopen the year-old case of a murdered girl nobody noticed, and potentially cause problems for certain nefarious members of the community...

Summary
MAJOR EDITS: I went back and revised the posted chapters, as well as added a couple in order to fix some problems I had with the pacing and exposition. Chapter 1 is now chapter 2, chapters 3 and 4 have been combined, and same goes for 5 and 6. Subsequently, chapter 7 is now chapter 6. Added chapters are the new first one to establish some essential info right out of the gate, and the dream sequence at the beginning of chapter 2.
AU where Cooper was adopted by the Palmers at a young age. He's been aged down to the same age Kyle MacLachlan was during the show's initial filming (30), so Cooper here is about 26. Takes place in 1985, when Laura is 14. Likewise, Sarah and Leland are slightly older, so the idea of them adopting a pre-teen when they were younger isn't all that ridiculous. Focuses on Coop's first months or so as a deputy, Laura beginning to explore the night life, and life in the Palmer house.
Was initially a three-panel comic I made. Decided to write out a full-fledged story.
