“Bakugou, stay inside! Do not go any further—“ The blonde instantly shuts off his communications, who does Jeanist think he is?! Bakugou huffs to himself, gripping his hands into fists as he watches the villains carefully. Bakugou is supposed to be waiting for everyone else, he’s supposed to be hiding in the building and monitoring the villains. Is he going to? No.
Bakugou winds himself up, pushing the soft, meddling feeling in his head away. Just blow their asses up, easy. Bakugou gives a shout as he charges at the two unsuspecting villains with bags of money that they stole, jumping up and rearing back, preparing to blast them away. It’s not as easy as Bakugou had thought it would be, as he always thinks it is. One of the villains, an extra with a stupid, slimy tail quirk, shoots out tendrils at Bakugou’s leg. The tendrils squirm around his ankle, grabbing him in a vice grip and slamming Bakugou down to the concrete.
Bakugou inhales sharply, eyes widening as blood pools beneath his legs. The clouds Bakugou tried to keep at bay, hit him full force.
Bakugou is blubbering when Best Jeanist shows up, he takes the villain’s out quickly with seemingly just a flick of his wrist, tying them up for the police later. Best Jeanist kneels down next to Bakugou, looking over his injuries. Bakugou cries out painfully as he’s rolled over onto his back, in which Jeanist shushes him. “I know, I know.. it hurts, doesn’t it?” Bakugou nods pitifully in response, tears rolling down his cheeks.
Bakugou would like to be angry, really he would like to blast Best Jeanist away; but the pain is too much, and Bakugou just wants to feel little.
Best Jeanist presses a finger to his ear, voice muffled behind his god awful denim collar. Bakugou can only let out a whimper as Jeanist lifts him up, holding him tightly. “I called your dad, little spark. Let’s get you back to my agency, hm? You need some first aid.”
Bakugou is mostly silent as Best Jeanist carries him back to the agency building, save for a few whimpers when he’s jostled too much. Jeanist is gentle with Bakugou, holding him close and comforting him when he cries.
Best Jeanist brings Bakugou into the bustling building, grabbing the exploding boy’s bag and whisking him away from all the noise and into his office. Jeanist lays Bakugou down onto a stiff couch, opening up his gym bag to grab Bakugou’s change of clothes, honestly Jeanist is surprised that Bakugou has spare clothes at all. Usually Bakugou will just leave for the day in a fit, still in his uniform, never changing out of it.
Jeanist helps Bakugou out of his hero gear, clicking his tongue against his teeth as he sees the poor little troublemaker has had an accident. “Oh, Bakugou.. did you get scared? It’s okay, darling. Hold on, do you have any protection?” Best Jeanist attempts to question Bakugou, though the smaller blonde is quite out of it. Best Jeanist digs through Bakugou’s gym bag, checking through the pockets before he finds a pull-up with an All Might design.
Jeanist cleans Bakugou up, slipping the pull-up over his hips before he begins to treat his wounds. Best Jeanist grabs some disinfectant and gauze, wiping the blood away before he wraps up Bakugou’s knees. “There we are..” Best Jeanist mutters, grabbing the sweatpants and helping Bakugou put them on.
“Now, let’s wait for your dad, hm?”
When Aizawa worriedly enters Best Jeanist’s office, Bakugou is quietly watching a cartoon on his phone, chewing on his fingers. Bakugou’s bright eyes look up from Jeanist’s phone, a shy smile gracing his face. “Daddy!”
Aizawa feels relief that Bakugou is safe and mostly uninjured, but then frustration runs over him. “Bakugou, honey. You need to stop running into danger.” Aizawa scolds him lightly as he walks over, kissing the top of Bakugou’s messy blonde locks. Bakugou’s smile turns into a pout, letting out a small grumble. Though he’s quick to grin again when Aizawa kisses his cheeks and fusses over him. Bakugou loves attention, so he can’t stay grumpy for long.
Aizawa lifts Bakugou up into his arms, handing Best Jeanist his phone back, which is a tad bit wet with drool. “Thank you, Hakamata. I’m sorry he’s such a handful.” Best Jeanist puts his hand up to silence Aizawa, fondly scoffing. “Goodness, Shouta. It’s Tsunagu, I’ve known you for years. I’d hope we’d at least be friends.” Jeanist woes on dramatically, hand on his heart. Aizawa chuckles, shifting Bakugou onto his hip.
”Oh no, I consider you an enemy for taking my baby’s attention away.” Aizawa playfully holds Bakugou closer, turning his head away. Aizawa and Tsunagu speak for a few minutes more, discussing boring adult things before Bakugou begins to get restless. Aizawa picks up Bakugou’s gym bag, giving his goodbyes to Tsunagu with a question of dinner. Tsunugu’s eyes crinkle with a smile, as he waves to Bakugou. “I would love to come over for dinner, especially to spend more time with the chaos starter.”
Bakugou clings tightly to Aizawa, pulling at his dark hair. Aizawa winces, pulling Bakugou’s hands away from his hair. “No, baby. No pulling.” Bakugou huffs loudly, nuzzling his head under Aizawa’s chin, causing him to chuckle.
“My fussy boy, let’s get you home for a nap. Papa is worried sick about you, I’m sure he has a few more grey hairs for you to pull out.”
