Chapter Text
Ashlyn rolled her eyes as she watched Tyler and Aiden. They had been arguing all day long. They bickered throughout lunch and classes, making peace impossible. They bickered about anything.
Now, they sat in the graveyard. Tyler and Aiden's bickering had quickly turned to screaming. Aiden, yet again, made the mistake of overstepping a boundary. None of the group was sure what they were fighting about, but they all stared in shock as Aiden screamed something.
"God! you're more deranged than your mom!" Aiden screamed as he threw a pen at Tyler. Tyler just stared, frozen. Aiden stepped back and covered his mouth immediately. "Oh no... Tyler, I didn't mean that I'm so sor-"
"At least I have a mom who loves me." Tyler interrupted: "Your mom just spends her time drinking and yelling." Aiden moved his hand and showed that his normal smile was almost completely gone. "How do you know that?" Aiden asked, his voice shaking a bit. "when you were on call with me asking me to guide you through dyeing your hair. She came in with an alcohol bottle and was screaming at you." Tyler explained. Tyler looked like he didn't regret a word he said.
"Tyler!" Taylor scolded, "Apologize right now!" "no." Tyler responded blankly, "He went there first. Now he gets to know what it feels like to have his mother drawn into this." Taylor looked bewildered "Tyler, his was not as bad, and you know it." Tyler rolled his eyes and sat on a bus seat. He picked up his homework, and for the first time, he ignored everything Taylor said after that.
"Guys?" Logan grabbed everyone's (but Tyler's) attention: "Aiden is gone." The group looked around the bus, only to find that there were five instead of six. "Do you see what you did, Tyler?!"
"For once, I feel bad for Aiden." Ashlyn stated. Ben nodded. "Sure guys! Let's all care about the psycho all of a sudden." Tyler scoffed sarcastically. For the first time ever, Taylor looked at her twin with disappointment and anger. "Tyler..." She tried to say calmly, "What the actual FUCK is wrong with you!?" Everyone stared wide-eyed at her.
No one in the bus had heard her cuss before, not even Tyler. Tyler looked up at her in shocked. "Tay-" "Don't 'Tay' me. Tyler. Text Aiden right now and ask him to meet with you, so you can apologize!" Tyler didn't want to, however he didn't want to fight with his sister any longer. He pulled his phone out of his pocket.

Tyler finally started to regret it. "I think I messed up..." he muttered while spamming Aiden with texts, and still only getting that he read them. "You think?!" Taylor scoffed, "Ty...I understand you were upset, but at least he apologized." Tyler looked down, feeling shameful until a certain redhead chimed in. "Yeah Taylor is right. He realized his mistake immediately." Ashlyn stated, Tyler truly hated when Ashlyn intervened. Ever since Taylor and Ashlyn started dating, they backed each other up on every argument. It was annoying. Even though Tyler knew that in this situation she was right, it still made him frustrated.
Taylor slide into the seat next to him, and hugged him. "I'm sorry for seeming so mad..It's just that it was pretty mean, and Aiden is like my best friend." Tyler nodded "I get it." He muttered and leaned his head on Taylor's head; her head rested on his shoulder. Taylor sighed: "Just keep texting him, ok?" Tyler picked his head up off taylor's and nodded, continuing to text Aiden's phone.

~with Aiden~
Aiden sat in an empty bus not far from the others. It was the only bus that seemed okay to hide in. The only way to get in was to climb a bus, then squeeze through the exit door since it only opened a couple of inches. In addition, it wasn't slanted or anything. Aiden sat in the middle of two seats; His head resting against the back of one, while his backpack on the seats facing him. He had his knees to his chin, and his arms hugging his legs tight against his chest. His smile was completely gone. he saw several notifications from his friends, but he stayed on the screen with a certain one. One whose contact was 'Ty ❤️'
Ty❤️
Aiden, please answer
Aiden would normally respond with 'what? miss me already?' but upon remembering why he was hiding there, he didn't. He noticed something about the notifications from Logan; they were all in the group chat. Logan didn't like private messaging anyone except for his boyfriend, Ben. Aide was happy for them, because Ben pined for Logan for what seemed like forever. However, whenever Aiden hung out with the two, he was always third wheeling. Even when it was just him and Ben, Ben would compare anything and everything to Logan.
Aiden groaned; he finally turned his phone off. He wasn't really that upset by the comment from Tyler. Yeah, it hurt, but he couldn't care less. The problem was, he didn't want his friends to see what went on at home. When on that call, he must have missed the mute and turn off camera button. Aiden knew he had to face them later I the phantom world, and he sure wasn't looking forward to it. He'll just have to put his signature smile back on and be chaotic.
It can't be that hard.
He does it all the time.
