Work Text:

"There is no way we are going to have an easy in at this one," Hardison said. "Whoever is doing security will see if I change the guest list and they are doing intensive background checks on all staff. Good enough they will spot me."

Parker tilted her head.

"I might have an in," she said.

Then disappeared before anyone could ask what she meant.

-

"So am I going to get to know why you are using me to get into this gala?" Jason asked.

It had been unexpected when his former neighbor and not quite childhood friend had approached him wanting to get into the gala. Jason really hadn't been sure it was a good idea to give in but Parker hadn't hidden the fact that she was using him so he gave in. For his own curiosity if nothing else. And he did know a bit of what she had been up to in recent years. Not that he told any of his family that. He just let them believe he had an actual date.

"I'm sure you'll figure it out before the end of the night," she said with a grin.

He was going to end up in so much trouble.

-

Bruce pinched the bridge of his nose and Jason smiled.

"I thought we all agreed not to bring internationally wanted criminals to galas," he sighed.

"I never signed that one," Jason said. "And it's not like they are actually that bad."

"They are criminals."

"But that asshole absolutely deserved it."

Said asshole being someone that the Bats had managed to overlook and was taking advantage of the foster care kids.

"And they certainly broke less laws than we do," Tim added.

Bruce just sighed again loudly and walked away. Parker snickered from the vents above them.
