Bruce knew the words on his upper arm would lead to an interesting meeting no matter who his soulmate was. Someone that possiblt knew both his identities before they met was a danger to him and his family. He could only deep inside that they were on the same side when they met.

"Ma'am you are going to need to vacate the premises," he said. "This is an active scene."
The red haired woman looked up at him with a quirked eyebrow from where she was looking at some evidence on the ground.
"Mr. Wayne, I am here for the same reason you are, to investigate this crime," she said. "Now you can either work with me or take your leave, your choice."
She went back to her investigation of what she had noticed on the ground, ignoring Bruce where he was stunned to silence.
He was just glad that there was no one else around.
"How do you know who I am?" he asked.
"That is part of my job," she said. "You should know who I am as well. Or do you not bother keeping up with SHIELD's top agents?"
He didn't say anything at first. But with the context of her being from SHEILD, he was able to figure out who exactly she was. The Natasha Romanov, better known as the Black Widow. That was who his soulmate was.
"I wasn't expecting SHIELD to have any interest in this particular crime, Ms. Romanov. Or else I would have recognized you sooner."
Another glance up from her, that time with a glint in her eyes that gave away her amusement.
"I can explain everything about why we are after we finish," she said. "Maybe over drinks or dinner."
With that he knew that she knew they were soulmates.
