“no No NO!!!” Shouted Eggman as he saw the blue blur heading towards him, in what’s basically the couple of days the hedgehog took down Infinite, all the ruby’s illusions and took back the world from his hands.
Eggman couldn’t do anything but clench his teeth as Sonic blasted through every illusion he created with the phantom Ruby until the hedgehog pierced through the machine and went through the pilot’s cabin, the doctor and the hedgehog looked at each other as the blue menace gave a smug smile only those with super reflexes could see before he went blasting through the other side of the death egg robot.
and with that the machine started to explode, the dimension he created started to crumble and his empire followed as the copies of old enemies of Sonic faded away.
Eggman silently screamed (for some reason he couldn’t make a sound) inside of his machinery as the phantom Ruby glowed with a scarlet glow. Infinie, the copies of Sonic past foes, the billions of Badniks following his command, the death egg, and literally recreating the Sun…
it was all for nothing.
after the dust settled and they day was saved, but Eggman Disappeared.
Eggman woke up with the sensation of water drops falling on his nose, he quickly got up and noticed he was on a alley with his Egg mobile heavily damaged “where am I?” Was everything he could say before he tried to activate the egg mobile, the machine floated for a couple of seconds before it fell to the ground.
“Damn that sanity forsaken hedgehog!” Eggman then hit the control panel of the egg mobile.
Eggman pushed his vehicle behind some trash cans then protected it with a device he had at hand making a small energy shield surround his vehicle “I have to keep my guard low, I’m now the most wanted man in the planet after ruling it for months”
Eggman walked out of the alley and noticed something, this place was different from what he usually knew.
There was no loops in the highways above, the streets had a design similar to the renaissance or Spagonia, yet he clearly remembers not being able to make any modifications to it during his conquest since he was too focused on “playing” with Sonic’s friends.
he looked around and saw ads for brands he didn’t recognize and products he didn’t knew of, Dust till dawn? SDC? he was the richest man on the planet (through shell companies and selling illegal weapons to all countries) and he would be sure to know about competition that sold guns that seemingly transform like the one from the store he’s looking at.
”excuse me” said a young woman to Eggman who jumped in surprise, he was too focused on the weapons to notice her, as he reached for the gun in his pocket he noticed something, that woman had hedgehog ears “would you be interested in a two for one offer? Buy a makeshift weapon and we give you a totally free one, It’s a limited time offer” said the girl offering him a pamphlet.
”I’ll check on it” said Eggman as he took the pamphlet and ran from there, he was no biologist but he knew those ears were real, specially when he saw them twitch like normal flesh and blood animal ears as he picked the pamphlet.
as he walked through the streets he saw posters for a movie starring a man fighting with a wolf like monster with white bone like armor, he would have seen it as fiction if it wasn’t for what he saw later.
”in todays news, the Grimm attacks have augmented the last days after the hijack done to the dust trading trains as-“ as the reporter (Lisa or something like that) talked, the news showed images of people with those makeshift weapons fighting against the very same monsters he saw in the poster.
as Eggman saw the report he kept seeing new concepts.
white Fang some kind of terrorist organization, Grimm or that’s at least how the reporter called this species of monsters, and huntsman who were the ones in charge of exterminating the Grimm.
he hasn’t been in every place in the world but he knows something weird could be happening, as he walked he noticed the sun started to set and as he looked above in the sky he saw something.
the moon was broken… like usual, is not like he wasn’t the man who did it, but he noticed something, the space ark wasn’t there.
And he kept seeing differences in the night sky. Between in how the moon was destroyed, as he calculated the impact by the way the rocks are shattered and the current possible rotations, the moon must have been destroyed from something in the planet and not from something outside of it like the eclipse cannon, plus this was more shattered than anything else while he put a massive hole in it.
eggman rubes his chin as he let a chuckle escape from his mouth “this ain’t my world isn’t it?” As Eggman gazed upon a broken moon, the one who did it probably didn’t know what they were doing since they did a mediocre job “a lesser man would die in this situation” Eggman looked at the city around him as he grinned “I’ll be home by Christmas”
