Evangeline Blackwell, or Evie as she preferred to be called, always knew that New York City held an abundance of secrets which she was itching to uncover, hence why she decided to move there for college. However, she didn’t consider that one of the cities' secrets was the existence of a particular blue clad mutant turtle and his crime fighting brothers.
Evie thought her biggest obstacle in her first year of college was going to be getting good grades, making new friends and getting used to dorm life. But alas, she now has to worry about a new crime organisation called ‘The Foot Clan’ working under The Shredder, the arch nemesis of the turtle and his family who she was beginning to grow very attached to.
However, after too many close calls, Splinter soon realises that perhaps the turtles were not as strong as a team as he believed them to be, and thus Leo was not experienced enough to lead them.
So what better fix is there than a year long trip to South America?
