Elle smiled, as she downloaded the pic. She couldn’t talk today but she could do this: A quick check-in, hello, how are you, and then back to work.
Being at the art college, so far from Tao and her Truham / Higgs friends, and busy all the time was hard. Some days they talked for hours, and some days only a quick check-in.
As she was about to post, she saw the silly, heartfelt, affirmation meme from Charlie. The same she was about to post.
“Can’t chat much today, but good luck on your presentation today Elle!”
Warmth bloomed through her.
