Work Text:

"There are no witnesses, unless you count the parrot."

"The parrot?"

There had been a theft, an important lady's necklace had been stolen. Since they didn't have any clues, they stood staring at the parrot, squeaking its "yeses".

Bob seemingly materialised a biscuit, "I keep it for emergencies, Maureen."

"Detective. You're bribing the bird? Hardly professional," she smirked.

"No, I just really need to chew."

"Yes!"

"Polly agrees," said Bob.

"Polly desires the biscuit. Polly shall then be prepared to provide the agents with information."

Bewildered, they gave the parrot the biscuit and got a perfect description of the thief.
