Behind Closed Doors

Summary:

Shrimpo is a vile and awful creature who radiates hate and anger. Who knows what he gets up to in his spare time?

Work Text:

When Shrimpo walked through Gardenview, most toons knew to stay out of his way.

Anyone naïve enough to think they can cheer him up is quickly screamed at and pushed out of the way.

Anger and seething hatred radiated from his very being.

He was a vile and awful creature.

Who knows what diabolical things Shrimpo did in his spare time?

"AAAAAAAAGGHHHKHHEEEEHAAAA-!"

The toon screamed and squirmed, trying to bury his face into either his own hands or the other toon's neck. Shelly had buried her face into his pale tummy, and was sporadically blowing varying lengths of raspberries. With his head being supported by one arm and his legs held up by the other, he had a smile on his face and tears rolling down his cheeks that only she ever got to see. She gently and playfully nibbled his sides, and sent his head back cackling like no one had ever seen before.

His face was growing warmer and pinker by the second. She spun him around with one last raspberry on his belly, and tossed him onto his bed. Shrimpo had a few seconds to catch his breath before he saw her hands curl up like claws and shoot straight under his arms. If Shrimpo _could_ have denied he was ticklish before, well, he couldn't now. The squeaks and squeals and giggles that came from his throat were _very_ unlike him. And it didn't fucking help that Shelly was teasing him, now, too.

"Aw, I didn't know this about you, Shrimpo!"

"Sh-shut up!" Shrimpo retorted with an uncharacteristic warmth and mirth in his voice.

"Oh?" Shelly replied, then pulled away, leaving the breathless, woozy toon laying on the bed for a second. His head was swirling, his skin tingling and sweating, when his eyes caught hers. His face grew even hotter.

"Oh, you aren't gonna bite me this time?" Shelly recalled when she tried to help Shrimpo learn to ballroom dance, and he got so frustrated that he left teeth marks on her arm. Luckily, he didn't break skin, but it frightened her away for a few days.

Shrimpo could have easily bit her again if he wanted her to stop, or if things got too overwhelming or painful. And the moment the realization hit him, all mirth in his voice was drowned out by fear.

"Y-you promise not to tell, right?" his mind cleared right up and he was stricken with a sickening sense of embarrassment.

"I won't tell if you don't want me to tell."

"What if they find out?"

"They're not gonna."

"What if they heard me - oh frick, oh frick-"

"Shrimpo, it's okay," Shelly grasped his arms to reassure him. Still shaking, but in a much quieter voice, he retorted, "Shrimpo NEVER okay..."

"If you feel up for it, I can stay in here for a while to help you calm down. Would that be alright?"

Shrimpo thought for a second, then nodded.
