Elphaba didn’t know how to feel when she realized that her blonde-haired roommate, when she wasn’t distracted by her classes and her two friends, made herself busy by following her. Why is she following me? The emerald-skinned girl didn’t know if she had to be worried about her roommate being a stalker. Then again, it’s not like anyone would believe her should she say something. Her roommate was Galinda Upland, Shiz’s princess, and Elphaba?
She was very much aware that she was something of Shiz but that didn’t mean she wanted her roommate to follow her as she goes about her day. Wanting a break away from Galinda, Elphaba walked into an empty classroom, hoping that the blonde-haired girl wasn’t going to follow her inside the room. Before she could get too excited, Galinda grabbed her from behind. Elphaba didn’t know how to stop the woman from being very interested in her. She whimpered and she was suddenly placed on the ground. “Sorry,” Galinda knew she had been following Elphaba. “I didn’t mean to scare you,” the blonde-haired girl looked at her with guilt.
“Why are you following me?” Elphaba wanted to know that piece of information, knowing it was important. Galinda blinked at her. Oops, it does look like I am stalking her. Galinda couldn’t help but smile at the taller girl softly, ignoring that she was stalking Elphaba.
“I know it looks bad,” Galinda started to speak, and when Elpbaba stared at her, not saying anything, Galinda couldn’t help but feel her cheeks flush in embarrassment. “Okay, looks extremely bad, I can admit that,” the blonde-haired girl told her shy roommate. “But I have a reason as to why I was following you,” Galinda could feel the glare from Elphaba’s eyes. “You’re mine, yeah?” The blonde-haired girl’s eyes gleamed as she continued to look into Elphaba’s eyes.
“I’m yours?” Elphaba was confused, wondering what the girl was talking about. What does she mean that I’m hers? Elphaba thought as she continued to stare at Galinda. The blonde-haired girl knew she was fucking up what she wanted to really say to Elphaba. Possessiveness is ugly and yet, it’s the main ugly thing I wish to keep in regards to Elphie. Galinda knew she had to explain to the emerald-skinned girl why she had been following her.
“I mean…If you don’t mind being mine…” Galinda noticed Elphaba’s cheeks turned dark green at the sudden confession. “I did have a reason as to why I was following you. I overheard that a group of people wanted to ambush you so I was making sure you were safe,” Galinda admitted to the other girl. Elphaba’s blush turned even darker and the only thing Galinda wanted to do was kiss Elphaba. One step at a time. She thought, wanting to take things slow with the other girl.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” Galinda smiled at how cute Elphaba was and the only thing she wanted to do was connect their lips.
“Because I want to kiss you, princess,” Elphaba’s gaze fell to Galinda’s lips, causing Galinda to giggle at how flustered Elphaba looked. “May I?” She gently placed her hand against Elphaba’s cheek and even though it was clear that the other girl didn’t know what she was doing, Galinda didn’t care. When she gently pressed her lips against Elphaba’s soft lips, Galinda could feel the exact moment Elphaba melted in her arms.
Galinda wrapped her arms around Elphaba’s waist, pulling the girl into her arms. When Galinda pulled away from the kiss, she couldn’t help but smirk at Elphaba, causing the taller woman to shyly look away from her new girlfriend.
