Idea from ahyestheusername on Chapter 3 on part one of this series! Thank you so much for your comment and your ideas! I hope I did one of them justice in your eyes! I shall do them all, maybe, if I have the time.
@Red.Robin has posted a video!
The video opened to a rooftop view of Gotham. Fitted with twisting roads that seemed to lead everywhere, tripping over themselves in their desperate attempt to escape the city centre, the ever present smog that drifted progressively lower over the city scape and the distant but distinct sound of sirens, it was a comforting view for the Gothamite viewers. It was akin to the start of a horror movie for anyone who had the good fortune of not being born in Gotham.
The camera jostled for a moment before turning to a shadowing figure pulling themselves up from the fire escape and onto the roof. Smoke filled the air behind the figure and a howl of sirens could be heard. Gotham viewers were quick to identify for Outsiders what each blaring screech meant. The higher, longer pitched ones represented a low-level Arkham Asylum breakout. Bad enough to get The Bats involved, but not bad enough to actually stop day to day tasks. While the deep bellow of the fog horn meant a gas attack had occurred, or was otherwise imminent, and it was time to put your mask on. There was, of course, the usual mess of police, ambulance, and fire service vehicles, all with sirens fighting for dominance.
The shadowy figure finally reached the top of the fire escape. Balancing on the edge of the roof for a moment, the viewers gasped as their arms windmilled in the air for a moment before the figure stumbled forward into the light of the ever present, and somewhat annoying, roof lamps.
Roof lamps, or 'too fuckin' bright' as they were otherwise known as, were the Gotham Police department's newest Stop Crime initiative measure. Figuring that, because of how much crime there was on the streets, it would be a good idea to keep them fully lit at all times. Installing giant glow sticks seemed, at the time, the best way to achieve this. Tragically, the plan had been a complete failure, with only a select handful ever being installed and fewer still even illuminating the street below. Instead, the giant moth-attracting (and yes that does mean giant glow sticks that attract giant moths, not giant glow sticks that attract regular moths, this was Gotham after all) lamps of doom seemed perfectly happy to illuminate random rooftops and go through perfectly happy citizens windows with the light of a thousand suns.
Really, it was quite lucky that the project suddenly lost funding.
The figure stumbled into the light, the camera shaking lightly as it attempted to focus on what exactly it was recording here. Finally, coming into focus, at least as much in focus as The Bats ever were, Red Robin crumpled face-down onto the rooftop, cape falling over themselves as they did so. The vigilante was clearly miserable. Where skin was visible it was covered in smoke stains, grim and more than a little blood, and the thick clump of black hair that typically covered his upper face was stuck down flat against their head with some sort of moisture. The debate about whether it was sweat, blood or some other miscellaneous source was ongoing and ravenous in the comments. The phrase “but birds don't sweat” was written so many times that a suggested search entry was now “do birds sweat”.
Muffled against the floor of the rooftop, Red Robin spoke in their raspy, I-promise-I'm-human-please-stop-guessing voice.
“Here is where I lay,”, pausing for a moment to turn their head slightly, just enough so the camera could make out the two white eyes narrowing against the darkness of the mask, Red Robin continued, “now is when I weep.”
The camera shook, and a small snort was held before the sound of crumbling rumble was heard. The camera quickly spun in the hands of the unseen recorder, turning to face the west side of Gotham just in time to see the collapse of a building in the distance. The camera may have been fairly shitty in terms of quality, but it was good enough to see the faint view of dust and rumble being flung into the air. There was a faint secondary crash, followed by a snapping noise and a third slightly quieter crack, before what seemed like every car alarm in the city went off all at once.
“Ah fuck-”
The camera cut out.

{"Oh, you're not funny!” I don't care :D, I had fun (I'm lying. I'm having such a shit time right now and writing is my only escape) Do let me know if you like it though, I know my writing isn't for everyone LMAO I grew up on Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett. This one wasn't meant to be funny-funny though, if I got a few huffs and a few smiles my day is made :D. This is slightly more serious, and you can tell I fell for the whole “writing reflects the authors' mood/life” thing} {I'm probably going to maybe continue this spin off fic as I have many rare vines, do suggest some more please I need a laugh thank you!}
