Summary
The story takes place a few days after the heartbreaking scene at Brocket Hall. Lord Melbourne has returned to London for a while and continues his duties at his political office, but there has been no other meeting with the Queen since their last encounter. However, a unforeseen event comes along to change everything, and the circumstances seem to push everyone to their limits.
