   Summary

   It all happened in the blink of an eye, clouded by his terror and adrenaline. Before him lay the bloodied body of his colleague and friend, Forest, whose body was peppered with bullet holes in his abdomen and chest. A pool of crimson spread slowly beneath him, sparkling in the moonlight above.

    

   -AU where Chris accidentally murders his best friend and colleague, Forest Speyer, while both Alpha and Bravo Teams are out investigating a lead in the mysterious cannibalistic murders that have haunted Raccoon City. Wesker convinces Chris to cover up the crime and helps him.
   -The trauma from it all slowly drives Chris insane.
   -Wesker is just trying to protect his best point man... Or is he?
