It has been 5 months since the defeat of Muzan. Tanjirou misses his family. He will never forgive Muzan for what he has done to them. However he has met new people, people that are his new family. He still has Nezuko, who thankfully was able to turn fully human after getting injected with the cure. About a month after the war Nezuko and Zenetsu had officially started dating. Inosuke is still head-over-heals for Aoi, who remains oblivious. Tanjiro hopes they get together and, they would make a good couple. Kanao misses her sister. She is getting a lot better though.
Tanjirou is sad to be away from them. He loved Japan. However, with all the painful memories that he had in Japan, he couldn't bear to stay there for the rest of his life. He misses them, but he has met new people in Gotham.
Tanjirou works in a small corner market in Gotham. He has made some friends there. However, the one person that he is glad he met, with all his heart, is Tim Drake. Tim Drake is a very kind and gentle man. Tim has his secrets, he is a very secretive man. Tanjiro and Tim have known each other for a little over 3 months, and have been dating for 2. Even though they have been dating each other, and are serious about each other, does not mean they have fully opened up. Tim and Tanjirou still don't know each other's deepest secrets. However, this is the least of their problems. The former demon slayer, now demon (not that Tim knows that) has still yet to meet his boyfriend's family.

*Tim's apartment*
"C'mon Tim, please?"
"I don't know my family can be quite a bit. I am afraid they will do the shovel talk," Tim shudders. "They might drive you away!" he added with a pout.
"Tim, the shovel talk can't be that bad. They can't be that scary. Plus you know nothing can drive me away from you, right?" Tim said softly.
Tim had to stifle a laugh. '"Can't be that scary" if only he knew...' Tim thought sadly 'I wish I could tell him.'
"I don't know, my family can be... intimidating to say the least."
Tanjiro turned his body to Tim and gently took his hands, "Tim, they are your family. I don't care how scary they are. Trust me I have had my fair share of scary. You care for them and they are important to you. I will love them even with all their quirks. Please trust me, and more importantly, trust your family. They love you, and I am sure only want the best for you."
Tim looked at Tanjiro for a minute. He looked at his face, trying to find if there was a lie in his words. He was surprised when he found no lie. Tim relaxed and put his head on his lover's shoulder. He exhaled, "Hmm... I guess we could try and do dinner at the manor..?"
When Tim looked up he saw his adorable partner looking at him with the most love and excitement he had ever seen in his eyes.
Tanjiro put Tim's hand to his face and nuzzled it, "I would love that."
Tim grabbed Tanjiro's cheeks and made eye-to-eye contact. "'m glad" he whispered before kissing Tanjiro softly.
Tanjiro melted into the kiss and hummed softly. About a second later Tim pulled away and added, "Better start planning then."
Tim got up and went to his room to grab his phone to call Bruce. Tanjiro waited on the couch for a minute before he heard Tim's door open again. He saw his boyfriend come out again, this time with his phone in hand. Tim plopped onto the couch, with his head in Tanjiro's lap. Tanjiro started carding through his partner's hair. Tim looked up from his phone and smiled softly before clicking the call button to Bruce's number. The couple waited for a couple of rings before Bruce picked up,
They heard Bruce say 'Who is it' through the phone.
"Hey B, It's me," Tim said into the phone.
{Hello Tim. Do you need something?} Bruce asked.
"Actually yes, I have a question for you," Tim said before continuing. "I was wondering if we could plan a family dinner sometime soon?"
{Oh? What is the occasion?}
"I wanted to introduce you guys to my partner."
{Partner...? As in romantic partner?} Tanjiro could hear some surprise in his voice.
"Yes, B. I have a romantic partner. why do you sound surprised!?"
{I can set something up. I will let you know.} Tim squawked. He was completely ignored by Bruce. Tanjiro just laughed softly at Tim's antics.
"Bye, B!"
{Bye, chum.} Bruce hung up.
Tim exhaled. "Welp, guess there is no turning back now."
Tanjiro laughed softly, "Nope." He continued playing with Tim's hair.
