Summary
Mydei’s head whirls up to face him the very second Phainon walks into the carnage that marks the Titan of Strife’s descent. The man stands among the dead carcasses of beasts, but Phainon cannot force himself to tear his gaze away to survey the situation beyond that when their eyes meet.
They have the exact same shape and spark behind them, the slitted pupils. But the color. They are much more vibrant than they used to be, almost liquid gold like the blood running through their veins. Captivating.
“Welcome to Amphoreus, Nikador,” Phainon greets as smoothly as he can, his steps barely faltering as he walks closer. He imagined himself saying those words a million times over, and that’s the only reason his voice doesn’t crack.
Mydei studies him for a heartbeat. And then, a wild fanged grin spreads across his face, allowing Phainon to finally break his gaze away and take his appearance in.
or; Phainon ushers in the new dawn of Era Nova. All that's left is the lengthy wait for that one person to follow him into it

Summary
Phainon scratches his head, debating the possibility of this creature being some kind of spy against the Flame-Chase. A human would be thrown out and arrested immediately, but something soft and cute and fuzzy like this could very well be an attempt to slip under their radar.
Although… the chimera maybe-a-spy is doing a terrible job at looking soft or cute. It’s the most sour-faced chimera he’s ever seen. Even the Garden of Life’s chimera literally named “Bad-Tempered” for attitude issues has never held such a fierce look on its face. This chimera probably-a-spy has a serious frown and flat expression. Its small body is wired with tension. Long, sharp claws scratch the marble ground.
“Aglaea?” Phainon asks. “What’s a chimera doing in the Hero’s Bath? Did the little fella get lost?”
The chimera’s eyes suddenly snap open, fierce gaze locking onto Phainon, and it growls.
In which Mydei turns into a chimera, Phainon panics, the other Chrysos Heirs aren’t as bothered as he thinks they should be, and shenanigans ensue.

Summary
A cursed artifact of Zagreus and Mnestia, capable of granting whatever the bearer wishes at a steep price, falls into Phainon’s hands. Not even a day has passed before, one by one, the Chrysos Heirs begin turning into animals.
Phainon, the last member of the Flame-Chase left standing, is left on pet sitting duty until he can find a way to reverse the spell he has woven around his friends—starting by uncovering exactly what wish he had made in the first place.
After all...even inadvertently, no respectable hero would ask for something so strange and humiliating to befall his closest comrades—would they?
