- blue, yellow, and black embroidery floss
This was inspired by an amazing vintage licensed Star Trek String Art kit from 1978. From the moment I saw it, I couldn't get string art off the brain. When T'Lara posted another "make something crafty" prompt for Spring Fever I knew what I had to make!
I originally intended for the background to look like the poster from Star Trek: The Motion Picture. However, my acrylics are over a year old and my useable brushes were the wide ones, so instead of a rainbow beam in the middle of space you get All Rainbow. It's grown on me a lot since I finished it.
Thank you again to T'Lara for this amazing prompt! You keep inspiring me to make silly, fun art projects. Unlike my Spirk Penis Pasta Art, this one is now proudly on display in my home.
