Chapter Text
In far away places there was a kingdom inhabitan by humans and anthropomorphic animals, together living in harmony.
Like every kingdom they'd had a queen and king, both were cats.
The female cat had white clean fur with an light organ pach on her right eye.
The male cat was a dark orange with yellow short hair.
Grace, the queen is kindhearted and gentle ruler, shower her people with grace as a queen should.
Unlike the queen, the king, Peter, is not so kind.
He's a cunning, cold hearted and very manipulative towards anyone including the queen.
However despite all this, the queen gave birth to a prince whom they named Petey. The small kitten was a spinning image of his father yet he held his mother's eyes.
It wasn't long till the queen grew wary of her husband. Calling her trusted court she wrote a will, if she were pass the throne and kingdom be given to her son.
Nothing be given to the king.
Of course after learning this, the king was enrage.
Later that same night, the king took his son into the night. The queen awakened hearing her child cries, she gasped upon the king holding their son.
Without a second glance they vanished into the night.
The kingdom search and search, but could not find the missing prince nor king. For the formal king had hidden him in a tall tower.
The king filled the young kitten head with lies about the world.
"Why can't I go outside?" the little boy asked as Peter brush his fur.
"The outside world is dangerous place filled with horrible selfish people. You must stay here where it's safe, do you understand my son?" The cat answered patiently.
The kitten nod. "Yes father."
What the king didn't know is that every year on Petey birthday the queen set out floating lanterns to the sky.
In hoping her lost prince will return.
