“Ugh where am I? My head is pounding. Feels like I just got hit in the head by a rock.” Nightwing wearing his traditional black and blue uniform with the domino mask. Laying on top of a tall building the traffic rushing by fast below him.“Hey are you ok? Looks like you took a pretty bad fall. I haven’t seen you around here. Are you new?” I look up to see a guy standing in front of me. He’s wearing a red and blue suit.There’s a spider on his chest. He looks to be around my age. “No I’m not new I don’t think I’m from around here can you tell me where I am.” “You don’t know where you are. That’s strange. Well you’re in New York City specifically Queens the worlds borough and my home one born and raised. “Yeah I can hear it in your accent.” “ Yeah you got one too New Jersey right?” “Yeah I’m Nightwing you?” “I’m Spider-man. How come I’ve never heard of you Nightwing?” “I haven’t heard of you either Spider-man. I don’t think I’m from this dimension.” “Oh. Well come on. Let’s get you back home.” The red and blue guy that looks like if Batman and Superman had a child that got adopted by Black Spider reaches out his hand. I take it and he pulls me off the ground with surprise strength. “Come on I’ll take you to Doctor Strange he should be able to help with this.” Doctor Strange what is he like a clone of Doctor Fate this world is already weird. “Ok. who is Doctor Strange?” “He is like a magical guy that keeps the multiverse in check here. He doesn’t live that far away just in Manhattan. Can you follow me swing through the city?” “Yeah I got a grappling hook. Does this sort of thing happen often you seem really calm?” “It happens to me a lot personally I have been thrown all over the multiverse.” All of a sudden with out warning he jumps off the building and shoots out a web of something and it sticks to a bother building and he starts swinging away. I need to hurry if I want to catch up with him. We arrive at a Strange looking building. Guess that’s where he gets the name. Spider-Man goes up to the door he doesn’t even knock just walks in like he owns the place guess he and this guy are close. “Doc you home?” “Unfortunately Doctor Strange is not in right now but perhaps I can take a message.” A man who strangely reminds me of Alfred walks in. “Hey Wong where is Doc I have a friend here that needs help getting back to his own world.” “Right now he is away on a mission with The Avengers of the supernatural.” Wow what a name that is this guy’s who thing is strange and I am the son of Batman I know some strange thing. *Doors slam open* “Spider-man I thought I heard your voice.” I am standing here with probably the most shocked face rubbing up against Spider-man is a ghost dog. “Bats, nice to see you boy. It’s been a while.” Oh my god his name is Bats I have got to tell Bruce about this when I get back. “Who’s your friend Spidey.” “This is Nightwing. Nightwing Bats. Bats Nightwing.” “If I may interrupt as I was saying Stephen won’t be back for another week or two. Nightwing will just have to stay with you till then.” “That’s fine with me if it’s fine with you Nightwing?” “Kind of sad that I won’t be able to go home for possibly two weeks but I’m fine staying with you Spidey.” “Great thanks Wong bye Bats.” “Bye Spidey.” “Goodbye Spider-man I will tell you when Stephen gets back.” “Ok” “Thanks for your help. It was nice meeting you two.” We exit the building and enter the street it is as busy as it was early people walking everywhere cars rushing but tons of honking and talking. Spidey moves his wrist and again shooting something white and sticky out of his wrist and is swing to a top of a building guess he wants me to follow him. I take out my grappling hook and follow him to the building. “So are we heading back to Queens.” “Yeah sorry I keep leaving you without saying anything. Wanted to test your abilities but now that I know that you in fact keep up I promise I’ll start telling you before I just swing away.” “It’s fine I’m use to people doing things without saying anything.” “Ok well I figured I would take the rest of the night off we got back to my apartment and I can order us some food and we can talk for a little while then go to sleep. I only have one bed though so you’ll have to sleep on the couch.” “That sounds nice. I’m fine with sleeping on the couch as long as it’s clean and I have a pillow.” “It’s clean don’t worry and you’ll have more than just a pillow you’ll have a pillow and a blanket.” “Wow how fancy.” “Yep.” We start to swing back to his place at a steady pace it doesn’t take long to get there we arrive on top of a decently tall building. “Ok so I live on the floor right below this normally I’ll just climb into my apartment through a window and I don’t have my key on me so we will have to climb through my window we got to be sneaky I haven’t had anyone caught me yet so you need to hang on to me while a climb us in.” “That’s fine I climb through my own window all the time. Though I don’t live up this high.” He grabs me by the waist pulling me closer to his chest “if I hold you like this I can get us into my apartment without risking you hitting your head.”
