“Don’t tell me you’re getting distracted again,” Voyage sighed, knowing full well the way his friend tried to woo anything that even slightly intrigued his flighty affections, and Devotion huffed in offense, lifting his chin to stomp a hoof against the hardwood.
“I’m not distracted,” Devotion insisted, crossing his arms again as Voyage barely glanced up from the ledger to look at him. “Again, Voy, there is more to life than budgets and bureaucracy.”
“Like skirt-chasing?” Voy asked mildly without looking up from making another mark in his ledger, and Devotion made an affronted sound.
“I’m not just sniffing around for a poke like you animals,” Devotion declared, making Chaos snort with amusement, and Voyage only hummed noncommittally as he made more notes on the ledger, accounting for things received from this morning’s shipments. “I’m going to marry this one.”
