    Or, Peter Parker wasn’t always Peter Parker. Very few people know that though. His mutation came with a depressingly efficient healing factor. Triggering said healing factor at 14, during an experience that should have left him obliterated, also not fun. Apparently the cells that regenerate so fast that they almost completely cease the aging process run in the family. An eternal 14-year-old in a society that hates mutants? Being experimented on over and over again in an attempt to create a perfect soldier or ‘fix the permanence of death’ for the ‘regular people’. And people call him a monster. Let’s just say the nightmares he has are legendary.
    God, sometimes he just wanted it to end.
